What Matt did was change the plans, namely, lowering the new rooms by two feet so that the interior would not require steps. By lowering the foundation, he was warned many times that, in our area, this is below water level. The foundation is block, was never wrapped or tarred--therefore, with water bleeding through these and seeping in under the footers will eventuaklly compromise the mortar and mold the floors. He installed sumps, but the areas are of course perpetually wet. Electrician put switches in places hard to reach, and convinced us to avoid an upgrade to 150 amps which was in the contract.
Matt installed Andersen windows. The screens for these windows did not match the slots in the windows. He told US to call Andersen (since the windows were already installed) to address the problem. The new bathroom is far removed from the boiler, requiring a re-cycler to provide hot water which was to be done before his plumber (a drunk) took off to go gambling. This was never done, and now he has asked US to pay for it's purchase, that he would install it.
His friend and foundation man used our property as a staging area for other projects, and essetntially double-charged us for yard restoration following the completion of the project. While some of the over charge was remediated, this person also worked with Matt on heating, and essentially changed our contract from in-floor (radiant) heat, to UNDER-floor heat ($$$), then failed to properly install a thermostat. While some of these issues are smaller than others, we are now faced with taking Matt to court for the more egregious ones. He simply got overwhelmed and refuses to listen to women, in this case us, the homeowners. However, I'm sure our lawyer will get his attention. The furnace shut off, I called Armor heating and cooling and they sent out 2 guys to put heat tape on the pipe so it didn't freeze. They were at my house within the hour! When the guys were done they left and I looked at the job they did and it was obvious to me (someone who knows nothing about HVAC instillation) that they didn't do a very good job - some of the pipe was still exposed. The furnace worked for about a month before it froze again. This time they sent out a supervisor who was EXCELLENT. He apologized for the work the previous 2 did, explaining that he was \"incredibly disappointed\" when he looked at the pipe. He defrosted my pipe, re-wrapped the pipe in the heat tape and protected the small part of the pipe that was exposed outside. Since then, I have not had a problem. With the a/c I have never experienced any problems - works great."},"url":"https://www.angi.com/companylist/us/ny/orchard-park/armor-heating-co-inc-reviews-6213151.htm"},"position":10}]}

Heater was fine happy after 3 months had to cancel standby generator project. Not sure what happened.
The technician (Richard) was very knowledgeable and performed the work on my boiler very well, indeed. He stayed over one hour until the heating system was functioning properly and made suggestions for some future work involving my leaky water pump which I may have to replace soon. If that be...

He claims to have been building and remodeling for 40 years, yet I had to tell him to stop what he was doing when he was putting up cabinets over cabinet walls to hold a refrigerator. He was placing the upper cabinets against the wall when they should have been set out to be flush with front...

What should have taken 2.5 to three months took six, because Matt would continually leave to go on other jobs. If he was not here, then neither were his subcontratcors. We hired an archtect at Matt's request who charged a lot of money ($5,000) to design the additiions. What Matt did was...

"I’m reluctant to leave a negative review, but my recent experience with Cellino has left me no choice. I initially hired Cellino for a greenhouse HVAC project, based on a positive recommendation and previous great service with a furnace issue. On September 6, Chris came out to assess the job, spending significant time taking measurements and photos, and assured me they had handled similar projects. After weeks of visits and reassurances, we received a quote on September 18. Though it was higher than others, I trusted Cellino based on their professionalism. However, on October 22, over a month later and after multiple assessments, the installation team informed me that the heater they specified was actually overpowered for our greenhouse—news that should have been caught early on. This oversight led to weeks of back-and-forth exchanges, ending with us exchanging the heater for a more suitable model. This delay has cost my business thousands in lost stock due to inadequate heating."

FAQs for heating oil service projects in Strykersville, NY
To buy heating oil for your house, contact local heating oil companies to compare prices and place an order once you decide on a supplier. The company will have to deliver your heating oil in a truck designed to carry and dispense heating oil safely. Call and order your heating oil early enough to have your oil delivered before you need to start using it for home heating.
On average, you’ll need about two gallons of oil per day to heat your house when it’s 50 degrees Fahrenheit outside. Most oil tank capacity is about 275 gallons, and heating your house with two gallons of oil per day will last about four and a half months. This consumption will vary depending on the climate and average temperature in your location. For example, if the winters are longer and colder where you live, you’ll probably need to refill your oil tank at least once to get through the winter.
You save money on heating oil in a few ways:
Make sure your home is well insulated and sealed against drafts and heat leakage.
Use a thermostat that’s working properly and calibrated accurately.
Program your thermostat to lower the heat when you’re not home.
Order heating oil during the off-season when prices are likely to be lower.
Summer months tend to be when heating oil prices are lowest because of decreased demand. Buying heating oil during the off-season also prepares you for when the weather gets cold, and you need to start using the oil to heat your home. Although heating oil prices will fluctuate, it’s best to avoid purchasing between September and April, as that's the peak season for heating oil demand.
Overall, heating your home with an oil furnace tends to be less expensive than heating your home with an electric heating system. Oil heating systems stay warm for longer periods of time without drawing a constant electrical current to maintain a temperature. Plus, heating oil systems typically have a longer lifespan and lower price tag than their electrical counterparts, resulting in short- and long-term savings.
