At 24, I’ve built a strong foundation in outdoor property services, running my own lawn care and junk removal business since receiving my driver’s license. What started as a way to enjoy working outdoors and earn reliable side income has grown into a dependable operation focused on quality, efficiency, and customer satisfaction. With years of hands-on experience managing physical work, scheduling routes, and delivering consistent results for homeowners, I’m now expanding my services to include professional pet waste removal—helping dog owners maintain clean, safe yards without the hassle. I take pride in reliable, respectful service and turning necessary chores into something customers don’t have to worry about.

"John was excellent in communicating quickly and he and his staff did an excellent job hauling out our garage. John even swept the garage out when done. Their cleanup was above and beyond. Very reasonable price and we highly recommend."

"What a great job these folks did. We basically were only moving furniture, as we had "pre-moved" most of our clothing and knick-knacks, but what a great job they did with furniture: taking apart and reassembling furniture, wrapping and protecting finishes, and securing our goods on their truck. They did move one closet of clothing, hanging it in wardrobe boxes and rehanging at our destination. They were as busy as bees throughout the process. I highly recommend Moving APT."

Hauling questions, answered by experts

If you have a considerable amount of excess rip rap, you will need to hire a local landscape grader or a construction company that specializes in rip rap installation to remove it for you. Because rip rap consists of large stones, it requires proper equipment to haul away and dispose of properly. If you happen to have the necessary equipment, you can drop off your excess rip rap at a landfill or transfer station.

Untreated lumber can be easily reused, recycled, or composted, depending on your needs and plans for future projects. If you’d rather get the excess wood off of your property, you can donate it to a lumber yard or reach out to neighbors and friends to see if they could use it.

There are a few ways you can save money on concrete disposal, including hiring a company that specializes in the service. While you’ll pay for the labor, professional removal companies can save you money on dumping fees if they can recycle or sell the old concrete. If possible, you can also do your own concrete demolition, which can cut down on labor costs. Paying for haul-away service only, you could save between $1.50 and $5.50 per square foot of concrete instead of paying for demolition and removal.

Only throw soil in a dumpster rental if you have permission in your contract to do so. Organic materials such as soil often make the list of items that shouldn't go in a dumpster, but this depends on the agreement. Some dumpster companies will accept non-contaminated soil as well as rocks, yard debris, and compost.

Pouring chemicals down the sink or toilet is a bad idea. In large amounts, they can damage plumbing and septic system. Tossing them in the trash can cause leaks, harmful fumes, and other problems, too.

Pouring chemicals onto the ground or nearby storm drains is also not recommended. Toxic chemicals can leak into nearby plants, lawns, or even water sources. It’s also illegal to pour out certain substances like used motor oil. Instead, schedule a trip to a local dropoff site for household hazardous wastes. Most local government websites can give you information on where to dispose of these substances.
