"We had banging & whistling noise from steam radiator pipes and the very old (but good) oil boiler during very cold days. He diagnosed what needed to be done. It was a serious amount of work, replacing a very old, badly corroded pipes and regular cleaning of the boiler. We could have had serious flooding if this had not been noticed and replaced it. Unlike other person's diagnosis, he knew exactly what needed to be done. It took three days to finish everything. He was very professional, experienced and very thorough and we are so relieved to have oil boiler /steam radiator running smoothly. Keeping an old house is an on-going job and it was so nice to have someone work very professionally. He offered warranty as well, so we know he is there for us should there be any issues. "Had a high velocity a/c issue and getting run around by orignal installer who I will blast for unprofessionaliism if he ever is listed here. Frustrated, called CC based off Angies reviews. Lisa was very pleasant and attentive to my long winded explanation, had me speak to Mo who took time talking to me. I asked if he could take a look at unit , he did and said it was operating but not cooling properly but that a full pressurized check of system was best done when weather warms. He was going to leave without a service charge but I asked him if he could winterize furnance, thought quote could have been lil lower for that but agreed because I appreciated his directness and honesty on dealings. Lisa quickly made appt to fit my schedule and Mo and helper were puntual on call as well as prompt responding to night call to check on pressure gauge that they replaced. Service cost all in."

"Called Dean with an emergency on a raining Sunday after turning to Angieâ s List to get my sump pumps working. Had never used him before. He came immediately. He got 2 of 3 working and replaced the third. Got everything set back up and running. Charged me only $150 ona Sunday plus the cost of the new sump pump, which was about the same as the last time I got a new pump from a plumber. Knows his stuff, friendly and reasonable. Would definitely recommend."

"They were hired to waterproof my basement. They were very professional, neat and fast. The price was very reasonable. The foreman & workers were very friendly and coordinated the work with the electrician for the sump pump. My basement is still dry after 3 inches of rain on 04/29/14. I would recommend them to anyone looking to waterproof their basement. My only issue is that the project manager did not come to review and inspect the job after completion. Also, I do not know when the sump pump is on or off and how to know if it is on if there is a power outage or power surge."

"At the end of July during the hottest days of the year, I lost BOTH A/C zones at the same time in my home. Needless to say, it was very hot in the house. I called Orange County Mechanical for an estimate after seeing exceptionally high reviews from both Angie's List and Google reviews. The owner, Ed O'Hara, came over the next day, gave me an estimate and literally "walked me through" everything that was needed to do to get the two zones back up, answered all questions, and the complete cost. Since I had a "builders" A/C system over 15 years old, it used freon which is no longer available along with two very inefficient condensers. I needed to replace the whole A/C system. He didn't try to sell things that were not needed, just what was needed to have a practical high efficiency two zone A/C system at an excellent price. Before he had left, he took the time to check the A/C condensers to see if he could get them up and running, at least until he could install the new system. Fortunately, he was able to get one of them running just enough to cool some of the house and he didn't want anything for it. It two days to remove the old equipment from the attic and outside and replace it with a new higher efficient two zone Trane A/C system. He put down floor protectors everywhere, left everything clean upon completion, removed all the old equipment and debris and swept the driveway clean when they were finished. Ed and his workers were very professional and polite throughout the whole time they were installing and removing equipment. Obviously he takes pride in his work and I highly recommend this company to all my friends and family and will be using him again. A job well done!"

"the team came by originally to fix the sump, but correctly identified that the problem could be best fixed by adding a french drain inside the basement walls.  
My 88 yr old dad called me today, bursting with praise for the attitude, cleanliness, completeness, no-hassle, and cleanup of the job.  He is a tough cookie and curmudgeon, so praise from him is quite meaningful.
Even little details like covering all the walking areas beforehand with cloth, and not leaving any waste in their garbage cans were a plus.

"Had problems with water seeping through the basement wall and trickling across the floor into a drain.  Tried various remediation methods such as regrading and new gutters.  Called Frank who came up with an economical system to minimize water, which worked beautifully as demonstrated by our first big rain storm since the work's completion.  We had a few miscommunications but the work crew and Frank responded very professionally.  For instance, after coming in from nightshift, I dozed on my couch waiting for the crew and they came late and then they spent some time waiting for me in my driveway ... so first day was late.  But they got to work digging out perimeter of agreed area in basement and strengthening the basement wall.  Second day, they installed material to drain water into sump pump.  I thought it looked peculiar and checked in with Frank who directed them to make a few adjustments, which helped.  They installed the sump pump with drain pump to outside and cemented the floor.  Overall, the guys were very good and responsive to my concerns.  I would definitely hire them back and recommend them to friends.
