    I cannot say enough good things about Aleks and his crew, and it is my pleasure to give them an "A" rating in every category. We started the project with a fairly long list, and the list continued to grow as the work progressed. I have worked with contractors in the past, and I have often experienced resistance to "added work." Not with Aleks. His response was always the same: "No problem." This is our weekend home, so we would usually only see Aleks when we arrived toward the end of their work day on Fridays. The entire crew is very polite and professional.(How often does an entire crew shake your hand as they are leaving?) Over the weekend we would come up with a list of items for Aleks to take a look at or address and email it to him on Sunday night. Without fail, by the following Friday, all of the things on the list were addressed. They made sure the place was cleaned for our arrival and even limited themselves to the use of only one of the bathrooms so the others could be kept pristine. When I first met with Aleks, he was very up front that he could not start the work for a few months. He explained he did it that way because once he started the project, he wanted to be able to dedicate his crew to our project alone. He was true to his word, and his crew was there every weekday from the start of the project to the end. Communications with Aleks, mostly via text, were always polite, professional, and prompt (even on weekends, when I ought not to have been bothering him). I will (and already have) recommended Aleks and AMV Interiors to friends and neighbors, and I would (and will) hire him and his crew again in the future

In addition to the dock staining, Kevin Herington and his team have done exterior and interior painting of both of our homes since 2004. My husband and I have yet to be disappointed and we trust Kevin. He has a great attitude on the job, an easy going but professional nature with his clients, and most important, we are happy to attest that the reliability and the consistent quality of the work has stood the test of time. When you hire Kevin Herington Painting, you can expect an accurate and fair estimate of what it will cost, a clear understanding of the exact scope of the work, and an efficient schedule for completion. Unless you change or expand the project, the work will start and end on time, and it will cost what you agreed. if there are any follow-up items that need touching up, it will be done within a reasonable timeframe. Kevin has a great reputation with his clients because he works to deliver what he promises, and commits to oversee the quality through its completion. Lastly, we learned the hard way that Kevin's work versus others is superior. Several years back we made the mistake of looking for another vendor when Kevin was busy. We fired the painters mid-project and waited for Kevin to correct what had been done and complete the work. Since that time, we get on his pipeline of work. Sometimes we can be the next project, other times it can take 6 weeks, but he always tells us the truth and he always gets it done in the same consistent quality we expect

    I consider myself very lucky to have met Ricky and to have worked with him. &nbsp;Ricky was recommended to me by a family friend and I walked over to introduce myself at a house he was working on nearby. &nbsp;Smart move! &nbsp;Ricky is straightforward, friendly and honest. That last adjective.....honest, is so important when someone is working on your home. &nbsp;I am so pleased with the end results of Ricky's work. &nbsp;He is very professional and very careful and concise in all of his work. <br /> At one point during a bathroom renovation, Ricky discovered wood rot in the floor. &nbsp;He thoroughly investigated the problem rather than ignoring it and continuing with installation of the tile floor. &nbsp;Ricky reviewed this issue with me, showing me what he found from both inside and outside the house, providing options for courses of action . &nbsp;He was then able to incorporate extremely important repair into the bathroom renovation at a very reasonable cost, avoiding what could have been a dangerous situation and costly repair in the future. <br /> Ricky proved himself to be very trustworthy. &nbsp;In the initial stages of his work, I was present. &nbsp;Later, I would simply give him keys to the house and felt completely comfortable with him working when the family was away for sometimes weeks at a time. &nbsp;He always treated our home with great respect and respectfully limited the impact of his work on the cleanliness and accessibility to the rest of the house. <br /> I have highly recommended Ricky to neighbors and friends in the area. &nbsp;And there is no doubt that I will mainitain a strong relationship with him in the future. <br /

    I contacted this service provivder on behalf of my Mom who lives in a town nearby. She is elderly and not computer savvy so I was trying to help her find a plumber for some burst pipes and problems she encountered upon returning from Florida. Unfortunately, this provider never bothered to respond to my message, even to say sorry he does not service her Town. Very unprofessional and I would not recommend this provider to anyone. &nbsp;How does a provider not even bother to communicate with apotential customer, especially someone elderly in need of service, living in a relatively isolated area with not many options? Huge Fail for this provider! <br /

    I was not happy with them. A large portion of the $400 I paid them was for deep cleaning of the carpet, and it did not seem like they did, although I am sure that they did. For that amount of money, I expected a lot more. They did not touch the microwave, and there was just a lot that was not done. I got the distinct impression perhaps that they were amateurs rather than professionals. They were very responsive. I would not use them again in the future
