"In 2014 Matthew Mulcahy repaired a hole in our living room ceiling from a bathroom leak and also textured the ceiling in the living room, stairwell and hallway in 2014. We live in an old house and the ceilings were cracked with plaster and lath underneath. He did an excellent job and our old ceilings looked new! We recently (Dec 2021) had a leak in our bathroom that caused a hole in the same spot. Ugh, I thought we would need the entire ceiling redone. But Matthew was able to repair the damaged area and match the texturing from years ago - all at a very reasonable price. He is friendly, professional and extremely neat. The work he did was in the midst of our Christmas tree and decorations and he cleaned the area to better than he found it! Thanks Matthew! I highly recommend him."

The work of removing the wallpaper and painting was meticulously done with making sure the kitchen cabinets and appliances were not damaged or paint left on them. His team works well together and helps in getting the job done right."

"From the very beginning of the project, the owner Bill was exceptionally professional and thorough with the details of the job. He ensured that I was comfortable with the process every step of the way. Bill and his team were very punctual, professional, and paid every attention to detail. I could not be more pleased with the work they have done for me; and, I would rehire them again without hesitation. Thank you, Angie's List, for helping me to find Key Painting."

"We have been completely remodeling the main floor of our house for several months. We have done everything ourselves up to this point, but I did not want to do the drywall myself because I simply don't have the time or experience to do a proper job.
Paul told us when he gave us the estimate that he is not the cheapest out there, but his estimate was very competitive with the others we received and he was available when we needed him. I was a little skeptical that the job could be completed in 2 days, but Paul assured me that he has been doing this a long time and that it should not take more than 2 days.
The specifics of the job were:
Hang and finish new drywall on ~375 square feet of wall, consisting of three separate walls and parts of two others, and also wrapping the ends of several wall sections.
- Patch/repair several holes, mostly in the ceiling, including two long sections where we removed walls.
- Scrape and skim coat ~435 square feet of textured ceiling to make it smooth and blend with the rest of the ceiling.
Paul and his crew arrived on time on Monday morning and had all the drywall hung before lunch. By the end of the day Monday all the taping and first coat of drywall compound was done, and the first coat of skim-coat on the ceiling. On Tuesday morning they applied the second skim-coat to the ceiling and second coat to all the drywall seams. After leaving for a few hours to let things dry, they returned Tuesday afternoon to sand everything, and then do a few touch-ups. It was ready for priming by late Tuesday evening. I was amazed at how quickly and professionally the job was completed.
Paul also returned on Friday to do a couple of quick touch-ups to small defects that we noticed after we had primed everything. We are very pleased with how everything looks. I should also mention that this is our kitchen/living/dining area and there were many electrical boxes, a door, a window, and plumbing to work around. I am also an engineer and DIYer so I am pretty meticulous about things. Paul really knows his stuff and I would not hesitate to use him again or recommend him. He is also a very nice guy and his crew were very respectful.

"Both men were courteous. I was worried about the helper smoking in the house. There was no evidence of that happening. There was apparently some confusion about what was to be painted. Service Pro did Spackle work on the kitchen and family room ceilings, but only painted the kitchen ceiling. That just didn't seem to make sense. The kitchen ceiling is beautiful. The real issue is the lack-of-finish of the plaste work in the family room. An outside corner, which needed a metal edge replaced was badly crooked. I hit it twice to get it straight. I would have been ashamed to leave what they left, and I ma not the professional. (I did n"
