Matthew did an excellent job repairing my ceiling. Matthew is a perfectionist and wants everything done properly and efficiently. He takes the time to explain the process and communicates from beginning to end. Very respectful of property and time always right on schedule. You can tell he takes pride in his work and it shows in the finished product. Highly recommend

Extremely extremely happy we decided to go with Mulcahy ceilings and drywall. We had a second floor water leak that resulted in damage to our ceiling and walls that needed replacing. From the time we called Matt he was responsive, transparent and professional. He came out, did our quote, let us know when he could start and kept us up to date with any issues that arose(all the fault of the mold mitigation team that came before him) but never the less, kept us in the loop with what he was encountering. One of the biggest issues that kept coming up was with respect to our insurance. The way Matt spoke with them went to bat for us was absolutely above and beyond what any contractor in the past has done. Now, with the process finished our house looks better than ever!! We are so happy we decided to go with Mulcahy Ceilings and Drywall, and I know you will be too!!

Excellent. Matthew replaced several pieces of dry wall, taped and blended in, added compound to mesh with ceiling, added stipple texture, and repainted entire family room ceiling.

Everything went very well. The patch came out great and the new texture on the ceiling looks spectacular. It was a two day job because he had to let the patch repair dry overnight. He was on time, professional and very knowledgeable about how to do things and what to do. The dining room ceiling came out so good I called him back several months later to do the same with the living room ceiling. It was a shorter job time wise (I had already done any repairs weeks earlier). That ceiling looks just as good. See attached photo of living room.

Mulcahy Ceiling & Drywall Specialists were outstanding. Highly recommend these guys for drywall ceiling repair. Would not go with anyone else. This job was done by the owner Matthew Mulcahy. We have a 3,000 sq. foot home with an open floor plan including a continuous ceiling that spans the entire first floor kitchen, gate room and hallway. The ceiling was not installed properly by the builder and developed several cracks that ran the length of the entire ceiling. Matthew went over the entire process with me before deciding on the best course of action. The rooms were sealed off with plastic. The hardwood floors were covered with drop cloth. At the end of each day the work area was power vacuumed and left spotless. We selected a new design for the ceiling texture that came out perfect. The job took exactly as long as anticipated. The fee was very reasonable and exactly what was agreed upon. We learned that for ceiling repair of this magnitude you MUST go with a contractor that specializes. This is not a vertical drywall job. The materials used are designed for ceilings. The techniques used to apply them matter - Matthew was very professional. Knows his stuff inside and out. I give this company my highest rating.

In 2014 Matthew Mulcahy repaired a hole in our living room ceiling from a bathroom leak and also textured the ceiling in the living room, stairwell and hallway in 2014. We live in an old house and the ceilings were cracked with plaster and lath underneath. He did an excellent job and our old ceilings looked new! We recently (Dec 2021) had a leak in our bathroom that caused a hole in the same spot. Ugh, I thought we would need the entire ceiling redone. But Matthew was able to repair the damaged area and match the texturing from years ago - all at a very reasonable price. He is friendly, professional and extremely neat. The work he did was in the midst of our Christmas tree and decorations and he cleaned the area to better than he found it! Thanks Matthew! I highly recommend him.

It's a challenge to repair drywall and an old home without a plum walls and framing, repairs from prior homeowners and contractors, and damage from water. The work completed is professional and exceeds expectations!

Pre-job, Matthew provided us with a detailed work plan for the work to be provided, including a fair cost estimate. The job went as planned and the quality of work was excellent. Matthew's craftmanship and professionalism are outstanding. We would not hesitate to hire him again.

Matt did a great job. He had to cut out the damage , replace the drywall, stipple and paint. Looks great. Matt cleaned up as he worked through each step of the restoration. I had to wait a bit for the appointment but I did not mind. Matt's workmanship was worth the wait.

Matthew Mulcahy was a pleasure to work with. Over the course of four days, he took care of the interior repairs that were needed in response to ice damming damage we encountered in February, 2021. Matthew's work included drywall replacement, molding replacement, repair of a wall crack, and ceiling and painting in the master bedroom. When completed, everything looked like new. He will be our #1 choice for any future work in our condo.

Matt was very timely with his initial response and any contact there after, very prompt every day on the job, and performed all services as contracted. He did an excellent job matching our new ceiling to the existing ceiling (one of our biggest concerns). He was very good about communicating through the whole process! Matt provided a detailed quote and preformed excellent work in both repairing the damaged drywall and repainting the ceiling which required some tricky work to get around the cabinets. I am looking forward to working with him again on a couple other repairs I need to get completed in the future.
