"I called for a free estimate, Justin came promtly and inspected the chimey. He showed me pictures of the problems and spelled out all the options. I explained to him that my cellar has floode due the problems and was anxious to get the repairs done. Justin quoted a price that was fair and much lower then any other estimates. "My chimney began to show some water intrusion. I contacted a well known chimney mason who suggested very over the top repairs which I did not feel were warranted. I called Brian Westman at Canterbury Chimney Sweeps to get his take on the issue. Brian came out and suggested a simple and direct repair which made complete sense, and was not over the top regarding the cost. Brian's estimate was well within the realm of fairness, honesty and affordability. Brian completed the repairs and the water intrusion issue was brought to an end. I plan on having Brian come and inspect the chimney every couple of years to make sure it is in top condition.
