"AWESOME!! I highly recommend KKR Construction. I had a couple sections of fence come down in a wind storm. So initially I was going to have Ken put up a vinyl fence on the one side of the yard on only an old school hand shake. Then a couple days later texted him, I only wanted the sections replaced with a wood fence plus fixing the gate. He didn’t have any problem with any of it. I left it up to him to come at his convenience. He came a couple days later, just before Jan 2019 snow storm/ deep freeze. Ken did a GREAT job and is very personable. We even talked about him taking down a couple trees in the future. Sue in Depew"

"Exterior Rescue did a very good job repairing my metal roof. It was a 3mo old standing seam roof that was installed quite poorly by a shoddy contractor and I was having constant leakage problems with it. Justen and Mike took a good look at it and were able to come up with a plan to save it. They did an excellent job at a very reasonable price and I now have a dry house once again. I am very happy that I now have a good contractor to deal with and that I no longer have to put up with the antics of a shyster metal roofing company that did not Tack my expensive metal roof down very well."

"Same dsy service for December gutter cleaning. Mike (?) was great and did a wonderful job, only downside is that I felt they were kind of pricy but I have been using a local guy who is currently injured so I went elsewhere and maybe Im not aware of todayâ s prices."

Fencing questions, answered by experts

Painting or staining protects fences from environmental damage, enhances durability, and improves curb appeal with a fresh, customized look.

A metal fence can last for over 30 years if maintained correctly, though the exact lifespan varies by material. For instance, chain-link and aluminum fences can function well for 25 to 30 years, while corrugated metal fences may last up to 60 years with regular maintenance. The lifespan can be shortened by harsh weather, abuse, or lower-quality materials. Galvanized metal tends to last longer due to its protective barrier, whereas sheet and corrugated metal may rust faster than solid pieces.

While picking a standard chain-link fence might be your first instinct, that metal can easily rust over time, making your space look not-so-great. Black chain-link fences are a simple and affordable way to fence in an area of your yard and are also less prone to showing rust than traditional galvanized steel chain-link fences. Plus, black chain-link fencing is a more unique option that can look very striking and elegant when installed properly.

The decision to add a dog fence to your property depends on several factors. A fence can be a good investment for pet safety, particularly in areas with hazards like busy roads. It helps contain dogs prone to roaming or those with a powerful hunting instinct, It also prevents accidents and neighborly disputes if your pet likes to venture onto their property. Also, by installing a traditional fence, you will also gain privacy. Some local regulations may also require homeowners with dogs to install a fence.

There’s no definitive answer to this question because dog owners and experts are conflicted about the efficacy and morality of electric fences. However, physical fences are typically considered a better option since they provide guaranteed containment for your pup, provided they are tall enough, and your dog can’t dig under them. Physical fences can also provide privacy, which might stop your dog from barking at people or animals walking by. Physical dog fences tend to be more expensive, but most homeowners find them to be a better option overall.
