"I just moved to fishkill, I dont know anyone.. Then I went on line for a contractor, and seen high tech, so figured ill give them a shot..good ratings and so on... 1) Donna is a such a wonderful person, she walked me through the problem I was having with my project. on the phone no less. she keeps the customer in a very confident and comfortable state of mind. 2) meeting Jimmy and his wonderful family was a blessing in disguise. , I felt that I knew them for 20 years. Very easy going great people. 3) know the project in hand.. For a lot of people this might of been an easy thing to do but I just couldnt get it right!. Jimmy came over with some high tech fancy leveling tools, and started to go at it. I was very impressed.. Jimmy jr , Cool kid I can tell he has a great future coming ahead. Ok so ,I needed to have my pool leveled, Long story short they came over and got the land leveled spot on , I couldn't ask for it to be done by better guys. "Dave Nessel and his stellar company, Unique Construction NY Inc. are the BEST. Allow me tell you why- On May 15th 2022 at 5:45 p.m., my house was hit by, what electrical engineers later estimated, was at least 80,000 volts of lightning. That huge, direct surge of energy destroyed all the systems and contents that made my house more than four walls and a roof. In addition to the bolt of lightning destroying all the systems in the house, it caused a violent, destructive fire. Thankfully I was home at the time of the incident, or the house would have quickly burned down all the way down and my pets would have suffered a terrible fate. Still, after all was said and done what had been my home for seventeen years was reduced to nothing more than an outer shell. I was immediately forced into the position to find, hire, and organize tradesmen from all specialties, negotiate the endless complexities of homeowners insurance, all while trying to find a place to live and continuing my self-employed full-time work schedule. It quickly became clear I needed the services of a general contractor. I interviewed a couple, but as soon as I met Dave I knew he was the man for the job. Dave was always on time or early. I'm confident his detailed documentation made the long slog of negotiations with my insurance representatives a little easier. Under his expert guidance, his company gutted and rebuilt my old house to beautifully modern standards while maintaining its historical charm. The rebuild came in precisely on budget and two weeks early. Dave's company Unique Construction handled my complex situation with upstanding processional skill, old fashioned kindness, and outstanding forthrightness. Dave and his crew treated me with respect, rebuilt my home, and provided a little hand holding & TLC when it seemed I needed it and I'm eternally grateful. Tim and crew, excavated to below slab on 2 sides of house per plan; repaired cracks and holes in foundation, applied waterproofing and perimeter drainage with pump. Backfilled and leveled work site and seeded grass. Crew was professional and hard working. First rainfall few days later showed everything working perfectly."

"the job was very professionally done.  There is not much to say except that I was very pleased with there work and happy that I don't have to worry every time it rains.  other contractors would have just dug a hole and put in a pump, but they covered back up the hole except for exhaust pipe which leads out of the house to underground.  It takes water a significant distance from my house.  Thanks guys.
