Customers say: Super punctual

"They were thorough and communicative throughout the process and Joe did a good job in terms of setting expectations. His crew was also quick and good to work with. Our house is about 90 yrs old and the floors have never been touched, so there was a lot to be done in terms of repairs and sanding."

"Great company. Easy to deal with. Great attention to details. They take pride in what they are doing. Paul is the owner of the company. His communication skills are top notch! His crew is very polite and hard working. They did a great job installing Epoxy Broadcast System over very old, detonated garage floor. It looks excellent! Very pleased! Highly recommend Classic Seamless Floors. If you have an old garage floor and are not sure what to do with it, - this is the way to go. It will lookand feel better than when it was new."

"Zack is simply a model tradesman. First of all, he wants to do things right. No cutting corners or just meeting the minimums. To cap it off he's the hardest working human being I have ever met. He demo'ed and replaced a full size two car garage floor in less than a week. He carefully prepped the space and installed both mesh and rebar to make sure the new floor was strong and would last. And he installed a drain the full width of the garage to make sure rain/snow melt can't collect on the new floor. AS if that wasn't enough, he went several extra miles coordinating with two other trades to make sure the entire repair project could be completed in record time. He worked closely with the plumbers so they could replace the main waste pipe (damaged by the old floor) while he prepped for the pour. He also helped expedite repair work in the basement. Zach and his crew set a very high standard for their work and work ethic. It would be great if there were more like them."

Flooring Installation questions, answered by experts

Vinyl plank flooring is widely considered to be the best flooring for mobile homes. It’s designed to look like other materials, such as hardwood or stone, for a lower cost. It’s durable, waterproof, and easy to install. Engineered hardwood and laminate flooring are also good options.

Yes, laying laminate over carpet may void the warranty of your flooring. Most laminate manufacturers specify installation over a suitable subfloor, not carpet. Deviating from these installation guidelines can invalidate the warranty. You should stick to the manufacturer's instructions to ensure warranty coverage, and you should always consult with professional laminate flooring installers near you if you have any concerns or questions regarding installation methods.

There are a few different types of finishes to choose from for the final step of the project.

Water-based polyurethane sealants emit fewer odors and fumes but dry quickly, which can pose a challenge when trying to get a smooth coat. Oil-based polyurethane sealants let out more odors and fumes into the air (it’s especially important to wear a respirator if you choose this type), but they take longer to dry, which can be more forgiving during the finishing step.

Some may prefer wood oil to polyurethane because rather than creating a layer, it becomes part of the wood. Wood oil takes longer to dry, and is less resistant to wear and tear; however, it creates a natural-looking result by enhancing the grain of the wood.

Carpeting lasts between 10 and 15 years in most cases, but keep an eye out for common signs that it's time to replace it. Persistent smells despite deep cleaning, faded color, worn-down carpet padding, and general wear and tear are signs that it's time to tear it up. If you are experiencing allergy issues indoors, this could also be a sign that new flooring is the key to a fresher home.

You can save money on labor costs by removing your old carpet before the professionals come in to install the new carpet. Just make sure to clear it with your contractor ahead of time. You might also be able to cut costs by buying carpet at certain times of year when it’s less expensive. These periods include late December to mid-January and late spring to early summer.
