  My experience with Advanced Flooring was fantastic from start to finish. They called me right away and gave me specific information about the project. Who to talk to, where to call directly to set things up. The office was helpful with guiding me to a good product. Measurements were made quickly and accurately, Adam was very professional coming into my home to do the measurements. Eric was my contact for selection and scheduling. He was very knowledgable about the products and helped in making my final decisions. I changed my plan a couple of times and he was great getting the changes measured and calculated. Most importantly the installation team was timely, detailed in getting everything just right. Communication was excellent. They work very hard! The final result I couldn't be more pleased. I wish I could share pictures! The vinyl flooring with baseboard looks high-quality and gorgeous. The carpeting I had installed also looks beautiful. The team cleaned up after the work and left me with a beautiful home. Thanks again to all: Eric, Nick, Adam, Carlos, and all whose name I didn't get. The owners, Joe and Briana, have an incredible range of knowledge, are honest hardworking people, and hold themselves to the highest of standards. Good contractors are very challenging to find, great ones are near impossible, Deering Handyman is one of the greats. My wife and I were moving out of the Albany area and needed our house not only in show ready condition, but with a finished master bath, refinished kitchen, new flooring, painting, retaining wall, gutters…I could go on. Joe and Briana came to our house, spent time speaking with us, walking the property, discussing ideas, but most importantly, they listened to our needs. They not once put their needs over ours, which, as a former contractor, is simply unheard of.   The project went very well. The lead carpenter came on time on the first day, introduced himself and went through the project details. They helped us set up a temporary space to use as a kitchen and put up tarps to contain dust. Demolition went quickly, but carefully and the carpenter checked in with us every morning to make sure the previous day's work was what we expected. We discussed what he would work on that day. One of the things we liked about this contractor was that the plumber and electricians were employees so they were there as scheduled. There were several issues along the way with the way the layout had been done by the cabinet supplier that needed to be overcome. The carpenter measured everything out ahead of time and told us about the issues so we could be involved in decisions about changes. Whenever we had a concern or small change they were accepted without question and corrected. They kept coming back and making corrections and adjustments until we were completely satisfiedshow more
