"Several days after calling we received a visit from Steve, who manages client accounts/coordinates jobs, and John, president. Both men were professional and pleasant, and John went into detail in response to our questions, which gave us some confidence in the firm's competence. We were offered financing. We received estimates via email in a short time. Once we decided to proceed with JSP, Steve visited again with Travis, who determined materials needs and made an estimate of how long the install would take (2 days). Again, professional and pleasant demeanor, and questions answered with detail. Steve was able to subcontract fuel tank removal for a reasonable cost when we determined this was also required by our municipality. Steve filed the permit with our town early enough to start on schedule. Work was scheduled for the end of October. The work was conducted over three days, rather than two, but much of the reason for that lay with our propane supplier rather than than JSP. Overall I was pleased with the install. The crew was small, but well equipped and experienced. There was a company runner to bring items when needed rather than an installer having to leave. They also showed up with two trucks full of a huge selection of tools and materials. Damon and (another) John vastly exceeded my expectations as far as how pleasant I imagined it might be to have strangers working in the home all day. They did not mind explaining what they were doing, they worked steadily but without hurrying, and they treated one another with respect. They did not cause any damage to our home and they cleaned up after themselves. The third day was trying, with Damon having to return late in the evening after doing another job some distance away to hook up and fire the boiler after the propane was finally activated. This did not affect his attitude and we really appreciate his work getting everything absolutely right, including returning a week or so later to make a small adjustment to the system. Payment was requested once the fuel tank was removed a few days later and we had a chance to evaluate how everything was working. We will receive boiler maintenance for two more years, and we are confident the company stand behind their work. The company has automated text and email notifications to keep clients abreast of when staff are en route to your home (including a photo for those very concerned about safety). This was helpful."

We later added removal of a wall and closet, replacing the dining room floor and painting the is one and the living room. We requested 7 quotes in total since this was a major project. We decided to work with Remodeling concepts due mainly to: - Derek's professionalism, - a timely response during the quoting process. We made four modification to the original project changing design and scope of work, - a very competitive price, - solid references, - have insurance and be licensed. The job started on the agreed date, and run as scheduled. Derek's team follows his professionalism, and they demonstrated a high level of expertise. Demolition (walls, closet, cabinets, etc), cleaning, framing, sheet-rock & taping, tile and back-splash work, plumbing and gas work, cabinets installation, electrical work, appliance installation, and painting were top. And they kept the dust to the minimum. We could appreciate their craftsmanship on the details. We have our DREAM kitchen. My wife is extremely pleased, therefore so do I. "The windows arrived on time but there was six windows that arrived with half screens , which are fine for opening the bottom half of the window but opening the upper the screen does not fit well to the window and bugs just come on in... was promised replacement FULL SIZED screens NEVER happened! March24,2020 we had the final windows installed but the kitchen window screen was torn before it was even off the truck...was again promised a quick replacement . I have called repeatedly about the screens to be promised again and again to have them soon... it’s now 4 months later and STILL no screens!!! We bought top of the line windows so they’d last a long time and do enjoy fresh air in the house often but can not open the Kitchen window because of the lack of the screen!! NOT HAPPY!!!"

"We had actually decided to hire Doug to install these three lights, install lights, outlets and switches in a bathroom we are renovating, install two outdoor outlets, and replace the cable that runs from our roof to the electric meter. All work was to happen a week after I first called Doug, but my wife really wanted the lights up since a number of friends will be visiting us this holiday season. Doug quickly fit us into his schedule for today's work, and my wife tells me he and his assistant were like Super Heroes, installing the three lights in what seemed like 15 mins. Considering we will be paying Scholz for time and materials, it is refreshing knowing that they come in and do their job as fast as possible while not compromising their safety.

They returned a couple of weeks later (since outdoor work to replace a riser could not be done in the rain), and did a fabulous job. Doug and his guys are amazing, and I would recommend them for all electrical work.
