"He and his team did the job well, in a timely fashion. They were easy to work with too. We recommend him for any Job with these services; sandblasting or dry ice blasting. The price was reasonable too; for the services rendered they were on par with their competition and looking at the end product better quality the others we saw. Well worth the price."

"David runs a good shop. His team headed by Mark were punctual, professional, flexible and did a terrific job. The soft wash is the only way to go. Our house was remodeled over 10 years ago and it looks as good now as it did then. I have already provided their contact information to a few friends of mine who need a similar service."

"From our first meeting, Brian and his team were punctual and professional.  Brian responded immediately to my request for an estimate and priced me fairly without any haggling needed.  Brian scheduled the work to be done immediately and his crew arrived on time (even a little early) which was greatly appreciated because I was working on a tight schedule.
Brian and his team were thorough and hard working.  His line to me throughout the job was, "I'm going to make you happy and I won't leave until you are"  Well unlike some contractors he stuck to his word.  As spackling is a several day job he would come back whenever was convenient for me - even when it was inconvenient for him.  He always put the needs of the job as a number one priority, and for that I am grateful.  Brian's personality is fantastic and his team is just like him - friendly and outgoing.
Brian succeeded in making me happy with his customer service and professionalism - not an easy thing to find nowadays.  If you're having painting or spackling work done in your home I'd recommend having Brian in to give you a fair and honest assessment.

Sandblasting Services questions, answered by experts

Soda-blasting systems are slightly more expensive than sandblasting systems. To soda blast, you’ll need to spend a few hundred dollars for a blast hose and nozzle, a compressed air supply, a blast generator, a moisture decontamination system, and sodium bicarbonate media, a recurring cost because the powder is not reusable. To start with sandblasting, you will need to spend upwards of $30 for a blast pot, a blast gun, an air compressor, and sandblasting media, many of which are recyclable—further reducing the cost. The total cost for either will depend on the size of the system.

Sanding and pressure washing serve different purposes in deck maintenance, so one is not necessarily better than the other. Pressure washing is ideal for annual cleaning to remove dirt, grime, mold, and mildew. Sanding is a deeper restoration method used to smooth rough surfaces, remove an old finish, and prepare the wood for a new coat of stain or paint. The ideal process for refinishing a deck is to first clean it (with a power washer), then sand it, and finally apply the new stain or finish. While cleaning should be done annually, sanding and staining are typically needed only every one to three years.

Regular sealing and repainting help maintain the restored surface’s durability.

The best way to sand a deck is by cleaning it, sanding the boards and stairs with 60- or 80-grit sandpaper, and sanding the railings and posts with 80-grit sandpaper. You should sand in the direction of the wood grain to avoid damaging the timber. When sanding your deck, use medium pressure and aim for an even sand. Pressing too hard with a sander can damage decks, as most are softwoods.

Sand is a common sublayer for hardscape features like driveways, paver patios, and more. Most projects that involve sand require a 1-inch layer to promote evenness, drainage, and weight distribution. For further drainage, most projects have a 6-inch minimum layer of gravel beneath the sand.
