"I was very surprised at how expensive it would be to paint my condo since the square footage was only 1,199. The living room had cathedral ceilings and there were some dark colors used from the previous owner. I was told because of the dark colors and high ceiling, it would take several coats of paint to cover it and a primer would have to be used. I also wanted to use Benjamin Moore, which I know is more expensive. I needed to have it painted right away. I decided to have the job done by PM Quality painting because they were very professional and I had read the reviews. It went very well. I was told it would be finished in 3 or 4 days, but it was finished in two days because they had extra help. I was extremely happy with the outcome. There were no issues and the cleanup was terrific. They took the extra time to do the caulking where it was needed and to patch up any holes in the wall. It was expensive, but it was worth it. I would definitely recommend them again."

"My husband was concerned because he must be able to work in his study with minimal interruption.(He is a professor.)
Nilton assured us he could complete everything in one day and have the study back together. My husband was skeptical.
1.  Nilton brought a second painter. They moved the furniture, protected everything, repaired the large cracks in the ceiling and walls, painted the ceiling with his paint, did 2 coats on the walls with our paint. He had minimal questions and they only took a 10 minute break because I insisted.
2. They came early as we agreed and were out of the house with everything finished, cleaned up (brought his own small vacuum), and furniture back in place by 2 PM (before my husband came home from class). The project gave us opportunity to edit what went back on the floor to ceiling bookcases!
3. Before he left, I asked Nilton to prepare an estimate for me for painting the living room and dining room. He has sent it. It is reasonable, and as soon as we can afford it, we will call him to come back.

"Our bathroom renovation was motivated by a desire to get rid
of the pink tiles on the walls and floor. It soon became clear that we would
have to go further than simply tile replacement. In the process of seeking a
contractor we were fortunate to find LAV. Luis? price estimate was competitive
and he brought an attention to detail and professionalism to the work. Every
day he put down drop clothes and cleaned up at the end of the day. We hit a
snag requiring the replacement of the subfloor but since he had agreed to
replace it if it needed it in our contract there was no extra charge. The next
big problem was the shower pan. We had had that replaced twice in the 20 years
we?ve lived in the house and were hoping to avoid that expense a third time.
Luis showed us that it had not been done correctly and was highly likely to
leak. Working with a first rate plumber he replaced the pan at a very fair
price. While shopping for fixtures prior to the start of work a store associate
showed us a $100 insert for the shower wall to hold shampoos, etc. I sent Luis
a text asking if he could do that. He responded nearly immediately that I should
save the $100 and he would build the insert. He attached pictures of inserts he
had done previously. We?ve got a great looking insert and a brand new bathroom.
The only thing not replaced was the ceiling. I highly recommend LAV.
