Best contractors near Patterson, NY

"We're very satisfied with the job they did, and the renovated room looks great. Contractors were friendly, and very helpful with suggestions regarding materials and colors."

"We have an old house built in the 1920s and wanted to completely gut the bathroom, with new tilework both in and out of the shower, new plumbing and electrical fixtures, and a total closet remodel. It went great. I bid the job out to three different contractors, it was immediately obvious that Hector was the most qualified. He had great suggestions that showed his experience. I was also pleased to see that his price was very competitive. Throughout the job he was responsive and helpful, always keeping me posted on when things would get done and what to expect next. He stayed pretty close to the initial timelines that we talked about the. The work itself is extremely high quality, and that included detailed tile work, as well as plumbing and electrical. I couldn't be happier with how this project went. I have two other bathrooms that need to be renovated, and Hector will absolutely be the first person I call when I'm ready to start work."

"By far one of the best experiences I have had with a contractor. Excellent professionalism and workmanship throughout the project. Even better, my place was left clean and spotless. I would use GM again in a heartbeat."

"Kerman did a great job removing drapery rod fixtures and replacing them with new ones, as well as installing safety rails in the bathroom. He contacted me immediately and arrived as scheduled. He was a pleasure to work with."

"Very well. Mark is extremely responsive. I had a clear vision of what I wanted to do and Mark was able to get me to a great plan with about three iterations of the plans. Also Mark's plans were approved without revision by the building department which is not easy to do where we were building."

"Asm was easy to deal with and very accommodating to special requests. His workers were professional and respectful of building occupants and neighbors. A couple of times I noticed things that needed to be corrected and he and his workers were responsive and addressed the issues right away. I interviewed 5 contractors and Asm's knowledge and proposal was the best out of them. For example, he knew to use "soft" mortar on old (100+ year) brick, otherwise the brick can be damaged over time. This was a 3-story, 2-family row house in Brooklyn, NY. There were multiple layers of paint on the brick. They were able to remove ALL of the paint. The bricks were difficult to repoint since they had tight (1/8") joints. They did a great job of repointing these with mortar neatly in the joint with no mortar outside. There were 4 brownstone lintels that had flower designs in them that were all chipped and broken. They recreated these patterns almost exactly based on a picture. His carver was truly an artist. See pictures. I would definitely hire Asm and Hudson Contracting again for a masonry project in NYC. He was easy to work with and very professional."

"Ronda came to us through our general contractor. She assisted us in selecting our cabinets, counter tops, hardware and tile. She met with us multiple times at our house to work through the cabinet design. And we met with her multiple times at her studio and the tile shop to select our counter top and tile. Always ready to help, she is knowledgeable and has innate design ability. More than that, she can explain her design choices, yet is willing to discuss alternatives and work through the design process in a collaborative manner, bringing many ideas to the table – or kitchen, as it were. She listens to her clients and was able to translate our ideas into a comprehensive design. Throughout the process Ronda worked with our contractor and with us to make certain everything came together as planned. While there were a number of minor snafus, she was always there to make certain issues were resolved and to keep the job moving ahead. Cabinets and counter tops are a significant portion of the remolding cost. Cabinet manufactures are not all that interested in dealing directly with the customer. Rather, they work through their distributors. We purchased our cabinets through Ronda who has a strong working relationship with the manufactures she deals with and can easily work out issues. Thank you Ronda for a wonderful new kitchen!"

"We satisfied with Finest Craftsman and their attention and cooperation from the very start. They were very good at following-up, identifying issues, communications and solving problems. They were always on time and got the job done. They were willing to work around my schedule, which included Saturdays. We received very professional service, and the contractor kept an open line of communication at all times. They did a great job. The carpentry and the painting were excellent. We were very happy with the quality of their work."
