"I asked to install a power outlet in a bathroom. The work was done fast. But, first, John started to cut the drywall without checking for pipes behind the wall. So he ran into a pipe and had to change the hole location for electric box. He left cuts on the wall. Second, he did not check the level of the box. The box was installed crooked."

Being a new/first time home owner, From beginning to end Lenny and Rob explained everything to me. The other two gentleman that came and did the work as well were awesome! Very professional and knowledgeable of their craft! The job took no time and the PRICE AND FLEXIBILITY OF PAYMENT WAS AWESOME!!!!! They were flexible with time to complete the job and they even cleaned everything up! I am completely satisfied with their work and will use them in the future!! I highly recommend them!! THANKS LENNY!"

"We were extremely happy with the work performed by H&M. Moises, Hector and crew were courteous and did whatever needed to please us. They did most of the renovation in our condo......painting, installation of bathroom cabinets, sink, installed tile floor, etc. They also installed vinyl flooring in our kitchen, living and dining rooms. They had a plumber replace our heating baseboard, I would highly recommend H&M if you want excellent work done!!"

"Fast and super helpful. Gave me a proposal right away. Started work same week. If deviations were needed, was specific on what and why. Reasonable and fair pricing, and honest about their capabilities and areas of expertise. Professional team and went out the way to provide additional references for other concerns. I also appreciated the video Fabio took to show me the before and after, especially in areas I was unable to see."

Bathroom Fan Installation questions, answered by experts

If you think your fan needs to be oiled, the first thing that you have to do is cut the power to the fan. The best and safest way to do this is by flipping the circuit breaker that leads to that room.  Depending on the model of your fan, you may need to remove a cover. Look for a hole labeled oil. If there isn't one, check the manual or look for schematics online. Once located, use the recommended lubricant or spray.

The more surface area that a ceiling fan blade has, the more effective it will be at producing airflow. Therefore, a longer ceiling fan blade is the better option if you’re looking for more wind. However, a longer blade will consume more energy than a shorter blade.

Before committing to this new project, you’re likely weighing the pros and cons of attic fans. The good news is that typical roof vents can only ventilate 150 to 300 square feet per unit, whereas a single attic fan can circulate enough air to vent an entire attic. By moving large volumes of air within and out of the attic space, an attic fan can lower the temperature by 15 to 40 degrees Fahrenheit and reduce moisture to prevent mold and mildew.

The direction you want your ceiling fan to move in depends on the season you’re in. During summer, you want it to move counterclockwise to produce a cooling downdraft. During winter, you want it to move clockwise to circulate warm air throughout the room.

Exhaust fans push air out of spaces, removing moisture, heat, odors, and pollutants. They vent air outside through ducts, preventing mold and improving air quality. Unlike ventilation fans, which circulate fresh air in and out, exhaust fans focus solely on expelling unwanted indoor air.
