Morrell Builders was wonderful to work with and we love our new home! The work and materials are high quality and they never said no to changes or issues that came up. We received personal attention from each person we dealt with from sales, to planning to construction and several meetings with the Morrell brothers themselves. We could not be happier

  • Todd Jones Custom Construction
Todd and his team were awesome. They were always professional and clean. They treated my family and I, as well as each other, with respect. The addition looks beautiful, and Todd was able to to change the plan when something didn't look just right. The construction was quick, as they guys worked every day (weather permitting, and we had just about every weather obstacle you could have in January). It was stressful to tear a roof off, but the plan went off without a hitch, with virtually no damage to the inside structure. He made sure that everything we discussed was exactly as it needed to be. I highly recommend his business and his team

  • Todd Jones Custom Construction
We were extremely happy with how well the project and construction process went from the beginning planning phases until completion. Todd was very responsive and involved throughout every step of the project. The group of guys that worked on the house we’re extremely knowledgeable and talented which clearly shows in the high quality of the work they performed. We look forward to using them again on future projects at the house

  • Todd Jones Custom Construction
Todd and his crew were wonderful to work with. They were professional, responsive to all my questions, and were friendly. While they weren't the cheapest estimate I received, they were the most honest and focused on what made them different instead of badmouthing their competitors. I valued their opinion and feel like they treated my property with respect and did a high quality job. I'm very pleased with my remodel - thanks Todd and crew

I worked with Schumann Construction in 2017-2018 on a garage rebuild and driveway project. As a single woman homeowner, navigating the world of home improvements can be daunting and intimidating, particularly of a project of this size and cost. Shane was there EVERY step of the way. He listened and responded to my needs and concerns. He advocated for me when other contractors were not following-through on their promises. He got me new garage doors at a discount and went above and beyond to make sure he installed garage door openers, even though the project didn't call for either of those things, and still kept it under budget! He even responded to text messages from me on Sundays! I cannot speak highly enough about the professionalism, compassion and follow-through of Schumann Construction. I'd recommend them for the job in a heartbeat

  • Ted Chapple
I have found Ted to be very precise and methodical in his work. He is a good listener and communicator, and he has always been prompt in responding to me, both by phone and email/text. Ted is a straightforward professional who focuses on the customer's needs and delivers craftsman-quality results.

3D Concepts remodeled my whole 2nd floor (i.e. gorgeous bathroom) along with the attic to my new home prior to assisting me with getting my old home move-in ready for a potential buyer. 3D Concepts is the most professional, trustworthy company. They went above and beyond and I will continue to refer them and hire them for anything small and large. I had a nightmare experience with another contractor that resulted in a Supreme Court case (before 3D) and regret not going with 3D Concepts at that time. I learned my lesson... 3D Concepts repaired the extensive negligent work the previous contractor did and I will never use anyone else every again except 3D Concepts. I have worked with 3D Concepts for over 9 years and I'm grateful this company is there for me to turn to for anything related to my home day or night. They have tremendous integrity and take pride in their craftsmanship

Seamus Langton was very prompt and professional. When he opened up the ceiling to replace the stained drywall he found a great amount of rot to due water damage we never knew about. Mr. Langton was very understanding and patient as he showed and explained to us the damage then suggested what could be done. He was sensitive to our expenses and was thorough yet conservative with the repairs. He cut out all the rot and replaced the structure with better materials than he found. He also made sure there was no further leaking before he closed the drywall. We were so impressed with his work and his work ethic we have retained him to do some remodeling to our kitchen. I am so happy to have found an skilled craftsman who is trustworthy. I recommend him very very highl

In 2011 while the master bath project was wrapping up I had mentioned to the Visca brothers we needed to replace the 20 year old deck and would like to make it somewhat bigger since a nearby tree has now been removed. They responded positively and we discussed some design concepts and material choices. Shortly thereafter they sent a drawing showing deck size and shape and we started discussing details. It was agreed with winter coming we'd wait until the following year. After weighing material pros and cons and using input from Visca's experience, we decided to build with cedar. In April of this year Visca called and asked if we were ready to build the deck. We said yes, that we had decided on cedar and asked for a final quote. The price came back within a few days and we accepted (having received other quotes previously). Visca was not the lowest bidder but the price was in line with expectations. A contributing factor was past experience and the knowledge the job would be done properly and efficiently. Shortly after receiving approval they went to work. Key points to note:- pressure-treated footers were set atop concrete supports and bolted in with galvanized clamps, rather than inserted into the concrete. This method will help prevent wood decay.- each plank was pre-drilled and screwed using stainless steel screws. All fasteners were either stainless or double-dip galvanized. These extra touches mean the wood will not split at the screws; screws will not rust away and stain the wood.- floor planks were slightly extended over the edge of the deck to prevent and quot;water trapsand quot; and ultimately, wood decay- the ends of the built-in benches were boxed, which creates a nice visual effect- the edges of the railing were chamfered and posts topped with cedar caps - again, nice visual effects which we didn't even think about or request All of these factors plus the on-time completion, the fact the job site was cleaned up at the end of each day and all waste materials were removed all contribute to our satisfaction with the project and with Visca Builders
