GNC Basement Waterproofing

I know the repair of the French drain was a small job but Gilbert came out by the next week day and completed the job very quickly.

Very happy I chose GNC. Gilbert, Chris and crew did excellent work with great communication. The whole basement job was done in 3 days, they killed it! This was extremely unfortunate to find but I'm so glad I chose to do it. Proper drainage in the basement is so important. I will call them for what's next!

Gilbert has customer service skills rarely found in todays service industry and were attentive and timely. He got things done on time and left things as promised. His crew had the skills needed for work done and were professional. Strongly recommend.

Gilbert did an excellent job waterproofing our basement. He dug up the outside around the foundation, and in the basement replaced the drainage stone, pipes and sump pump, after jackhammering up the concrete. He started the job when promised, and ended on schedule. He also promptly returned to correct one minor issue.

Gilbert kept us informed of each step of the French drain installation process. It looks great and has solved the drainage problem around our garage. We are very pleased!

The job Gilbert did for me was difficult in that he had to dig in a tight area and around well established shrubs. He took great care with the plantings, no damage at all. He kept me well advised at every step of the way, showing me every stage and explaining in detail what he was doing. And! He was great about answering all of my questions and concerns. When he was finished he cleaned the areas to perfection. Which is a rarity with contractors. I didn’t feel I had to do a thing after he was gone. Gilbert kept his appointment times and there were no surprises. I highly recommend Gilbert and his company.

Not completed as per initial estimate. Pipes carrying the water to the drain not buried as stated in estimate. Pipes coming apart and flooding the yard. Several connection pipes are not connected, but held together with rubber hose connectors which come apart due to the water pressure. States the solution is pipes rather than one inch pipe they used which is another $1400. It is not that the pipes are too small, is the shoddy connections.

The hardworking crew at GNC did a great job on our crawlspace. There is no longer a musty smell coming form the crawl space. Excellent work!

All of the crew at GNC we re hard working, pleasant, respectful and knowledgeable. Gilbert is a man of his word and went above and beyond to fulfill his promises AND to satisfy the ridiculous demands of the building inspector. He handled himself with professionalism and grace. Gilbert and his team worked hard on a difficult basement waterproofing project! I have a 100 year old house with no drainage and it was awful. GNC removed 100 years of grime, put in drain tile, a sump pump, and special walls. They also included an air purifying system. To top it off, I asked them to epoxy the floors. The work looks great and the difference in air quality is epic. I highly recommend this company!

Gilbert and his crew worked diligently on our basement. They were on site when they said they would be. Cleaned up before leaving for the day and kept disruption to a minimum. All GNC personal were respectful to us and our property. We had a family emergency and Gilbert worked around our schedule. It was a pleasure to work with him. This spring we had a lot of rain and our basement was completely dry. We live on Lake Ontario and with high water levels and the rain it was amazing to have a dry basement. The quality of the work is top notch. The job was completed on time and at cost. The crew did some extra work that was not part of the job but needed done. They went above and beyond our expectations. If all contractors were like GNC this would be a better place.
