I will use them again for any tiling project in the future because they are precise and detailed and do not practice "good enough mentally". They were on time everyday, they cleaned up each day. "We decided to replace the tired carpet in our condo. United Carpet was our second stop in search of solid vinyl wood plank flooring. We were fortunate to meet Art McLeod, who showed us a vast array of options, We settled on Karndeen and found one we though would go well next to the existing parquet wood flooring in the rest of the condo. He urged us to take a sample home, and we were glad he did, for our sense of the color match was way off. When we returned he shows us what he thought would work. He "right" sold us, (others had tried to get us to take a more expensive product than we needed or wanted) offering us a product a bit less expensive than what we picked, but he assured us it was of equal quality and better for our application, over a concrete floor (we live an a converted 1903 schoolhouse). His selection was right on the money. He kept us apprised of the order and delivery dates and set up an install date based on our availability. His install crew, Jim and Bob arrived on time, calling ahead. Unfortunately they discovered the concrete under the carpet had heaves and cracks and would require leveling. They were craftsmen and did the job carefully and completely. A one day install dragging into four days, but we didn't mind, because we knew the job would be done well and right. They went out of their way to accommodate us in timing of arrival, and always kept us apprised of any need for them to briefly engage in a repair or other activity. They were not going to leave until the job was done perfectly, and they held to that promise. They were pleasant, respectful, and a pleasure to have in our home. We are thrilled with the product, with the installation and our entire experience with United Carpet has been excellent. We cannot recommend them highly enough."

"Fair $, but turned into a nightmare. Once concrete poured, did a decent job at trowling smooth , but didn't bevel front edge right for water run off. I believe he has the knowledge, just would not show up or do it. Never on time - if showed at all. So much work needed before day of pour, no-show until that day and then showed up 1.5 hrs late- same time as concrete truck showed up. Did not bring jersey bucket to get cement into back yard, so my driveway was damaged, but thankfully he did repair that. I did all, including 4 hrs digging night before, as I guessed he would not show up again. Concrete was to be sloped on outer edge. Water sits. Their time investment on site: 5 hrs removing old cement & 5 hrs pouring- leveling cement. My time from contract date: over 14 hrs with pick and shovel, and I am 67 I had to do 99% ground prep. After pour, Did not come back and put in expansion cuts, so I did. All which I paid them to do. I believe he could do good work, if he put in effort "
