"TL;DR: Junior, the owner of A/Plus, is awesome. I highly recommend his asbestos testing and abatement services. The Long Version: I needed asbestos testing done in my home, so I went through HomeAdvisor to find a contractor. Junior was one of several abatement contractors who reached out to me within a few hours of my inquiry. Based on our conversation, I knew right away that Junior was the guy for the job. He asked a number of pointed questions about what I found, where it was in the house, and the approximate dimensions of the area to be abated. He then explained the asbestos testing process, including a timeline for testing and removal, and gave me a ballpark figure for what removal would cost in the event that the test came back positive. Before we got off the phone, Junior gave me an approximate appointment time and said that if he couldn't get someone to come to me that day, he'd show up himself. Sure enough, Junior came through. Before taking a sample, he did a visual examination of the area and gave me the information (including a pamphlet) on the lab where the sample would be sent. He then filled out the lab's testing form and had me review it for accuracy before he left. I got the test results back the next day. The time from my initial inquiry on this site to getting the results was less that 48 hours. As Junior had predicted, the results were negative. Had I needed abatement in addition to testing, I'm sure I would have also been satisfied with A/Plus. The quote that Junior gave me during our initial conversation was very reasonable. All of my interactions with him were pleasant, and he helped put some ease into what was a pretty stressful process as a homeowner."
