"I hired Lynn for several projects, this summer! (2025) He has done a terrific job with everything he’s done. He’s responsible, and very easy to talk with. He was very helpful on explaining, things, going over and answering all my questions. I had him do all my soffit work, painted my house also. I then had him do a deck for me. He’s a hard dedicated worker, and does remarkable work! I have more work for him next summer. I would highly recommend him, if you want good quality work done. I have tried uploading some pics, of anll the work I had done, unfortunately it would not work. "

"Great workmanship in the retaining wall Mike and Steve built for me. Very professional and took extra care to not rip up the lawn nearby the work area. Also was proactive to spread the extra crushed stone material in the driveway which needed some attention. Will definitely hire again as my list of additional work for Mike and Steve is growing. It’s best to prevent cold air from entering your garage through the space underneath the garage door. Stop cold air in its tracks by adding or replacing the weatherstripping underneath the door seal. You can also add weatherstripping along the sides and top of the garage door to prevent air leakage, and it’s a relatively easy DIY fix.

It’s possible to use a torch to melt ice on your garage door, but we don’t recommend it. It’s very easy to bring the flame too close to the door, which can melt the weather stripping or even the garage door itself. You’ll melt ice quickly with a torch, but the damage you’re likely to cause can end up costing you a few hundred dollars to fix, which isn’t worth it. Instead, we recommend pouring hot water over the frozen area or using a less intense heat source, like a hair dryer or space heater.
