Customers say: True professional

"Romeo just poured a concrete driveway replacing a beat up asphalt mess. He was meticulous and patient. Friendly and professional. The new driveway is great and we look forward to years of use. We are not concrete experts and he took good care of us, he cares about his work. I would recommend Romeo to anyone needing home improvements"

"Just that he was very thorough, he was able to describe some of the technology and so of how, we live near the coast of were the lake and the water table high so lot of these basement have this moisture level were like upward like forty percent. He was really really scientific and I guess that's what impress me the most and then he didn't give me any kind of hard sell he was just putting the data out there."

"I had a 3100 square feet job of concrete completed. The service was excellent and the price was great. Very friendly. They even went the extra mile by repairing the garage side door and the fence so my dogs could not get out of the yard. Highly recommend their service."

Concrete Cutting FAQs, answered by experts

Sawing your hot tub into more manageable chunks so it can be lifted easily into a truck takes several hours. Generally, 2.5 hours for smaller hot tubs and around 4 hours for larger ones with the help of one to two people. If money isn't a concern and you want to skip the physical labor, you can hire a pro to get the job done.

Costs depend on unit complexity, labor, wall mounting needs, and additional accessories like floating shelves.

The cost to weld aluminum averages about $14 to $22 per pound. The type of metal factors into the overall cost of any welding project due to the cost of the materials and the expertise required to work with it. Some of the most common metals used by welders include:

  • Magnesium alloy: $7–$16 per pound

  • Low-carbon steel: $11–$12 per pound

  • Stainless steel: $13–$15 per pound

  • Copper/brass: $24–$29 per pound

  • Cast iron: $38–$79 per pound

  • Titanium: $60–$85 per pound

Welding is the process of using extreme heat—and, sometimes, pressure—to attach two pieces of metal. In contrast, metal fabrication is a more involved process that can include welding, sheet metal work, bending, and other forms of metal manipulation. Metal fabrication is a large-scale project that may or may not involve welding, while welding is more often a step in larger fabrication projects.

Professional metal fabricators typically charge around $70 per hour, but the total cost of your project will depend on several factors. The largest cost drivers are the size, complexity, and design of the project, as well as the price and type of metal used. A good way to estimate the total cost is to multiply the cost of raw materials by four; typically, one-quarter of the total goes toward materials and three-quarters toward labor. Your geographic location can also influence costs, as labor and material prices vary by region.
