"Do not hire these people. We hired them to clean and paint a house which we just purchased. There was a gigantic miscommunication between the work we were told they would do, and then what they actually did. At the first meeting, a very detailed list of everything was taken, and then nothing on this list was done, and we constantly had to remind them of the things they said they would do. For example, we were very clear that we wanted everything removed from the walls throughout the house before painting (a normal thing that should be done before painting), and they agreed, and then halfway through the job they send pictures, and nothing was removed from the walls. This then required them to go back and remove everything, and then touch up every spot they missed, adding several days to the overall job, and resulting in uneven paint spots on all the walls. In addition, they communicated with us that they don’t get paint on things like door hinges and windows and sent us pictures of the prior paint in places were paint shouldn’t be. Yet, when we moved in, they got paint on literally everything in the house. When I saw them painting, they did not use any painters tape or painters’ tarp throughout the whole house. We sill have paint drops on all the floors throughout the house, on the carpet, light fixtures, door knobs, etc. They even painted the windows shut in multiple rooms and painted the bathroom sealing fan shut, when they could have easily dropped the fan, and painted just the ceiling above it. I spent hours removing paint and freeing open the windows. In addition, while we were told they would clean the whole house, top to bottom, whole rooms were not cleaned, as previously agreed upon, and per the contract. In addition, the whole project was estimated to take two weeks, with the understanding that they might need another day or two if necessary. Baring a supposed family emergency, it took them a total of four weeks to complete the project. Twice the length they said it would take. In addition, the quality of work they did was just incredibly poor. With very little attention to detail or care in their work. They said they would spackle all hole and repair things, and this was barely done. The sheet rock they installed doesn’t align with the floor, walls, and electrical outlets. We were also told that they would “take care” of the whole basement, which apparently only meant painting and sheet rock, not replacing the ceiling and carpet, which we were told they would repair for us. Again, a giant miscommunication between what we were told they would do, and what they ended up doing. They also recommended someone to come and replace the baseboard heaters throughout the house. When this person came, he accidentally cut himself while working, and then proceeded to get blood all throughout the house and on the newly painted walls and newly cleaned carpets and floors. It was a complete disaster. They also informed me that this person, who they recommended, has been caught previously drinking alcohol on the job, so why they still recommended this person is beyond me. At the point they were all done, according to what they felt they needed to do, Ed said he’d come back to do a final walk through with us and give us some additional trim which Ed said he’d pick up for us and install. We gave him money for the trim, and then we never heard from him again. He has never responded to us and has since ghosted us. So just to be clear, he stole money from us. In addition, him never returning resulted in him leaving all sorts of supplies, debris, and trash inside and outside of our house, which we needed to clean up. He also left a several hundred-dollar ladder which I guess is ours now? He just left it here and never showed up again. I see some of his replies on this website, and please be aware that he might reply to lie and try to downplay all of this. But this is 100% true and accurate to the level of work that Ed and his team did. Do not work with these company under any circumstances."

"I had Modern Window put in a very large window right in the front of my house, a window that changes the entire look. They use ProVia products which are made here in the USA. This is not a ProVia review as they are the only reason my sanity is remotely intact after this ordeal. I was PROMISED by my salesman a clean, finished look. I have gotten nothing but the opposite. After the install I contacted the company due to the attached pictures of the "finished" product which was embarrassing and just shy of dangerous to my house. The roof was built right over top of my existing siding and caulked on. The shingles were not the right color which they had blamed on supply chain issues (They went to home Depot the day of install for them. I ordered the window and install with detailed instructions months prior) flashing was wavy, uneven, and had large gaps. Great for a fresh hornets nest. The roof was FAR from centered. And they've all but destroyed my landscaping. Oh yeah. I almost forgot I couldn't open the brand new window because it touched the roof. "okay sir we will fix it" I was scheduled a month out for them to redo it. Fine. Companies are busy. I get it. Well today they came to redo it. The hole in my siding? Too small. The frame of the roof? Split at almost every corner due to them not predrilling. The J-channel to keep water out? Wavy and uneven. Then it started to rain and the installers left saying the office would call me shortly to schedule them to come back leaving two gaping holes in the bottom of the roof. I'm beyond angry at this point. How does a company like that get 4.8 stars? Regular windows? If you don't know how to do the job hire somebody that can. If your wondering too the job was just shy of $9000. That doesn't like like $9000 to me. Don't waste your money, go with anybody else. Even a stranger that says they can do it, at least then you'll get what you pay for. UPDATE 9/14 Forgot to mention during install they tried to leave a ROTTED sil for this behemoth window to rest on to save a buck. Attached picture. Today after having left this review and leaving an angry E-Mail to the GM I was sent out a two man crew to "rectify" the issue. Rick, the owner had a conversation with me about what was expected and I told him the solution to the problem is to remove the overhang, cut the siding down larger, and replace the overhang adding J-channel for a clean, watertight, finished look. He told me that's not an option and instead we would have to figure out another solution. God bless Adam and Brandon for all of their hard work today making it to where at least now it looks like a professional FIXED a botched job. Granted I am still going to have to remove the overhang to reside my house and we had to get quite creative with the caulk, but hey. Now I won't get laughed at by my neighbors and it will keep the expensive new window dry for now. When the guys finished the mcgivered fix to an awful situation I had a conversation with Rick and he wanted to know if I was satisfied. I explained to him that I am not and for me to be satisfied the roof would have to had been redone to the correct size and J-channel flush all the way around. He said he's sorry and instead insulted me with a gift card for my wife and I to go to dinner. A gift card for those who don't know won't keep my window watertight or help me to not redo all their hard work when I need to redo my siding. Anyhow he asked that I take down this review. I will not, I do NOT recommend Modern Window to ANYONE. Especially not someone who won't babysit the guys and might look at a botched job and think it's all okay. It's all fun and games until it's raining inside after all. At this point I'm considering legal action for Deceit, Fraud, and Defective Construction Work as I know for a fact the framing is cracked, splitting, not flush to the wall, and I'm pretty sure the ONLY thing holding the weight of the window. Pretty sure bribery is frowned upon too. FIND ANOTHER CONTRACTOR!!!"

It has nothing to do with a bad computer board. This company looks for a way to deny claims. i had one other claim and they tried to deny it as well. Save yourself some agravation and stay away. They must post their own positive reviews. They took my $65.00 fee and did nothing"

"My initial contact with Leelands was 10 years ago. I really admired the work they had done on my neighbors house. I just couldn't afford slate repair or replacement at the time. The employees were always courteous and patient. Fast forward to May 2018, I had exhausted all the patching my roof could take. I contacted Leelands, Donna promptly scheduled Luke to come out for an estimate. Luke was on time and provided honest feedback. I recieved a Photo Report, Field Condition Report and Proposals a few weeks later. It took me a few more months to decide how to proceed. In October, Leelands sent Gabriel and Miguel to make the repairs. They were prompt, courteous and worked diligently to finish the job. After a rainy 2018, my roof is still leak free."
