"We have worked with Anthony from TAS Construction since 2006. He built a 2nd story addition on our home and completely remodeled the first floor. His work and crew are professional and courteous and you see right away that Anthony cares about his clients. After Hurricane Sandy destroyed the 1st floor of our home, Anthony was there to help us repair the water damage almost immediately. Fast forward to August 2020, and Anthony made time to give us an estimate for some recent storm damage in a few hours. It was devine intervention that days after the storm the president of Homes and Beyond was given the wrong address to provide an estimate for a basement remediatioon job in my Rockaway neighborhood. When he knocked on my door, we struck up a conversation. I showed him my basement. He was reluctant to take a downpayment from me because I had never met him before, had no references for him, and he didn't want to spook me. Nevertheless, I had a good feeling. I gave him a deposit which he said he would not cash until I had checked out a few references. I went to the homes where he was in the process of doing work, made a few calls, and liked what I heard. He did an excellent job on the basement gutting and remediation. I then hired him to do the outdoor repairs from falling trees and to do the one floor (including new base molding, sheetrock, insulation and painting) inside my house that had water damage. He is currently in the process of renovating my basement, which includes walls (framing, sheetrocking and some cement skim-coating) floor, ceiling, insulation, etc. All of his workers must be given some kind of orientation because they are all super considerate, very neat, etc. I have no complaints and would certainly recommend Homes and Beyond.

"Mike and his crew came in, they were organized,professional,skilled at their jobs. We put addition on house and they opened up the roof, did the work and had the house covered. They planned it between all the rain storms we were having at the time. Took a while to start because of the rain but when weather opened up they came in and did a great job. The quality was great. Mike walked us thru various stages so that he was completing it as we wanted. He was here every day his guys were when I know most companies drop guys off to fend for themselves and the homeowner has no idea what’s going on or who to talk to.
