"The turn around was very quick and went smoothly. Everyone was very polite, friendly and respectful. I am very pleased with my counters. In order for it to go quickly and smoothly it's important to have everything ready including purchasing the sink (if you are providing your own) and faucet, and the original counters clearing off for the template and removed for the install."

"Joe from JMS Drain Services was my service technician who arrived well within the window scheduled service time. Joe came in, inspected the sink to determine how to resolve my issue, took out the tool (snake apparatus) to clear the sink, and departed my premises within 15 minutes. Drop-in sinks, also known as top-mount, are the easiest to install, especially when they fit the existing sinkhole. Drop-in sinks sit on top of the counter and have a raised edge to keep water from splashing onto the floor. They come in different styles to match your kitchen design.

There are several types of sink drain stoppers, including pull-out, twist-and-pull, and pop-up. Pull-out sink stoppers can be removed by pulling on the stopper until it comes out of the drain. A twist-and-pull design requires lifting then turning the stopper to lock it in an open position and the opposite action (turning, then pressing down) to close it. A pop-up sink stopper works by pushing down the drain cover to open or close the passageway.

Hairline cracks often start very small and grow longer and wider over time. While they may appear problematic, hairline cracks don’t indicate structural problems and may not impact the performance of sinks.
