"Worked with great customer agent in the booking. The price was fair and they committed to next day delivery. On delivery day, contacted around noon for ETA, after long wait time was told they would call me back. No call back but a text three hours later that it should be here shortly. I asked how shortly and they said dispatched confirmed it has been delivered. It was delivered but to the wrong address. Upon another phone call, and long wait, was told nothing could be done until the next day, despite only being 3pm. No customer service or even slight effort to correct the mistake or make it right. Extremely disappointing especially with the great, smooth start to the transaction. Be aware that customer service is not a priority once payment has been received."

"After 6 months with a significant down payment for a bathroom remodel, the owner told my 78 year old mom over the phone he was terminating her contract because he said she hung up on him. This is not true and when she called back asking for an explanation he ignored her calls and messages. He returned her deposit with a letter saying he could not fulfill the contract due a work shortage. He never shared this information with my mom on the phone. He left her with a shower, sink, and all the bathroom parts she purchased in her garage where she can no longer park her car. When I called and demanded a return call he returned my call and said he could not do the job but said she could still use the items that were purchased. He never extended her the courtesy of a return call, apology, or explanation of why or what she should do with the items he left in the garage that were paid for in full. She cannot get her money back for some of the items ordered that were custom. I'd give him a 0 for the job and less than that for his character and integrity. I have never seen or heard of anything like this before and hope I never do."

Dumpster Service questions, answered by experts

It depends on the amount of trash you need to unload. Generally, renting a dumpster is more cost-effective than taking trash to the dump yourself if you are dealing with a significant amount of waste. For a small carload worth of junk, it is far cheaper to bring it to the dump yourself.

Generally, you should hire movers when moving large, heavy objects. Professional movers can take much of the work off your hands and remove the risk of personal injury. But if you’re only moving a few light items, you can save money by making the move on your own and renting a moving truck.

No, you can’t place hazardous waste in a dumpster unless you specifically ordered a dumpster for hazardous waste removal. If the dumpster company finds hazardous waste that it didn’t approve for dumping, the company will return the waste to you, and you’ll likely face a fine for illegal dumping.

You will need a permit for a roll-off dumpster if you plan on storing it in the street or if it will block any sidewalks or other public areas. A roll-off dumpster that sits completely on your private property often won’t require a permit, but some HOAs and municipalities will require them even if the dumpster won’t be on or block public spaces.

Yes, most providers offer pickup and delivery as part of the service. Confirm with your contractor.
