"They removed old moldy insulation, sprayed fungicide on the mold and encapsulated a crawl space. Also insulated with foam insulation around the entire basement rim joist, including the crawl space. They were on time and finished before they expected to. During the inspection, when I pointed out bubbles in the foam, they redid that section without question. Zy called after they finished to make sure I was satisfied."

"Everyone, from initial analysis to job completion, was professional, courteous, and exceptionally friendly within the constraints of the COVID19 situation. They did our job the day before lockdown and provided masks for themselves and us, even though the masks were not a recommended precaution yet. All the other insulating and heating measures we've taken - including a gas fireplace, new windows, thermal curtains and lots of rugs - never gave us the level of comfort that we have now. When that didn't work, he scheduled someone to come by the next day to work on it, but for our safety and theirs, we asked him to hold off until after the lockdown is lifted. We have NO DOUBTS that John will do what he said he would. If Global Dwelling provided another service that we needed, we would not hesitate to hire them again."

"Well, the first time the replacement was ordered it was the wrong one, which of course, delayed the installation a week. When it was finally installed I had to pay an additional $850 for code upgrades. This I was not informed of by Home Shield. Then we noticed that there was water on the garage floor and found that the pipe coming in from the wall was leaking at the wall so had to call the plumbing company back out to fix it. They first tried to say it was not their fault but since there wasn't a leak before they installed they did fix it. I have used Home Shield a few times before and never had a problem. Some of the companies they use are not the best so you have to research them before you commit. I have found HS service to be good if you do your homework. At the end of the day I was without hot water for almost 3 weeks but it was do to the plumbing company they sent out."
