"My husband and I were attempting to eliminate ground wasps within the entrance of our garage when I discovered another type of wasps coming through a clapboard of our home into our basement. Not knowing any pest control company we turned to Home Advisors which provided us with a number of local companies with high rated reviews. Within minutes after filing our information I rec'd a call from PestMaster Services. From start to finish PestMaster Services provided us exceptional service! Jerome's knowledge of pesticides minimized the exposure of this chemical within our basement AND he was able to remove the nest within the wall! Oh yeah and their price was more than reasonable!"

"I had a momma raccoon and 4 kits in my attic. Ed did the work. He gave me same day service. Within 10 seconds of inspecting outside of my home he found mommas access location inside my attic. Momma and 3 kits have been removed and are on their way in Edâ s truck to a good outside home in the wild. Ed also installed metal screens to the vents on the north and south side of my house just below the peak of my roof. He also repaired the slats on each vent. We figure early April momma climbed up a downspout of my rain gutter, then climbed the roof to the peak and entered through the vent by pushing through the slats. She delivered her kits up there 6-7 weeks ago. I knew of none of this until several days ago when I heard movement in the attic. The 4th kit escaped Ed. My attic has flooring you can walk on only at the top of the stairs thst pull down. 90% of my attic is very thin material that canâ t support a person walking on it and has a very deep application of blown insulation on it. The 4th kit is hiding in there somewhere. Ed left momma and the 3 captured kits in a cage at the top of the stairs overnight hoping the 4 th kit would come hang out there and he could capture it. No such luck, itâ s still hiding in a sea of insulation. Ed has packed up and left, I paid him in full. If I hear the kit moving in the next few days Iâ m to call Ed and heâ ll come back. If not within a week or so it will expire. Ed is a good man, very professional and absolutely knows critters and how to rid your house of them. His price was considerably less than Iâ d have paid a company. Lastly - my girlfriend does not trust strangers. She became comfortable with Ed. That is high praise."

"Floyd replied promptly to our service request. After a couple planning days, Floyd came in, did a good job identifying and starting the process to remove our unwanted guests(a mice family). Cost was about what is customary for the service, Job and clean up was well, done. Hopefully the pests accept there is no more room at the inn this holiday season."

Pest Control questions, answered by experts

We recommend using diatomaceous earth to create roach repellent barriers outdoors. Most oil and spray applications will quickly wear down in outside weather, so they aren’t as much use  in the outdoors. If you are really struggling with an outdoor roach problem, we suggest looking for pet-safe bait traps you can set.

Yes, it’s safe to sleep in a house with termites. They don’t bite or spread disease and they aren’t likely to crawl on you or invade your personal space. However, termites can cause serious structural damage over time, which may compromise your home’s safety if left untreated. If you suspect an infestation, it’s best to schedule a professional inspection and treatment to prevent long-term risks to your property (not to mention your peace of mind).

Some animals, such as bats or birds, will be able to get out of chimneys on their own since they can fly. Other animals, however, may have a harder time and will require the help of a professional to escape. Squirrels and raccoons in particular may become stuck inside a chimney, especially if you have a buildup of soot or creosote inside. This can prevent them from being able to climb out, in which case you’ll need to call an animal control expert to help remove them.

You might be tempted to call your local municipality to remove animals from your property, such as a groundhog burrowing in your yard or raccoons getting into your trash cans. However, they typically only remove domestic animals like dogs and cats from properties, or sick and injured wildlife that pose a public safety risk or health threat, such as a rabid animal. They typically do not capture or remove healthy wildlife.

Animal removal professionals have the tools, knowledge, and skills to trap and remove wild animals adequately and humanely. They also can relocate them correctly.

While water bugs are considered generally harmless to humans, they can bite humans if threatened. Cockroaches are often incorrectly mistaken for water bugs. In this case, cockroaches can bite but are unlikely to bite humans.

Water bug bites can be very painful and cause symptoms such as redness, swelling, and allergic reaction. Bites will usually heal on their own. However, if you experience severe symptoms or an allergic reaction, seek medical help immediately.
