Get matched with top carpet stretching pros in Hamlin, NY

"Great Job done on stretching a part of our carpet that was buckling, it looks amazing!!!!"

"We decided to replace the tired carpet in our condo. United Carpet was our second stop in search of solid vinyl wood plank flooring. We were fortunate to meet Art McLeod, who showed us a vast array of options, We settled on Karndeen and found one we though would go well next to the existing parquet wood flooring in the rest of the condo. He urged us to take a sample home, and we were glad he did, for our sense of the color match was way off. When we returned he shows us what he thought would work. He "right" sold us, (others had tried to get us to take a more expensive product than we needed or wanted) offering us a product a bit less expensive than what we picked, but he assured us it was of equal quality and better for our application, over a concrete floor (we live an a converted 1903 schoolhouse). His selection was right on the money. He kept us apprised of the order and delivery dates and set up an install date based on our availability. His install crew, Jim and Bob arrived on time, calling ahead. Unfortunately they discovered the concrete under the carpet had heaves and cracks and would require leveling. They were craftsmen and did the job carefully and completely. A one day install dragging into four days, but we didn't mind, because we knew the job would be done well and right. They went out of their way to accommodate us in timing of arrival, and always kept us apprised of any need for them to briefly engage in a repair or other activity. They were not going to leave until the job was done perfectly, and they held to that promise. They were pleasant, respectful, and a pleasure to have in our home. We are thrilled with the product, with the installation and our entire experience with United Carpet has been excellent. We cannot recommend them highly enough."

"It was great!!! Jon was a great person to work with. Extremely professional, friendly and considerate. Everything was explained and calculated, nothing omitted or forgotten. Took about 2 weeks from quote/house call to install date. Thank you so much to Jon, Tom and Bobby for coming out on a Saturday and spending the whole day getting the floor done. Really appreciate your professionalism and your effort to ge the job done right. I can't wait for the carpets to get here! If my ideas pan out, I will definitely be calling back. Thanks again!"

"Jon and crew did great job. Quality work and material. Great personalities. Would hire them again"

"It was fine. He was very professional. He did the work in a shorter amount of time than he estimated and the price was very reasonable compared to other quotes I received. It's a nice carpet and everything was great.  He was knowledgeable, no hidden prices, and he didn't let me down."

"We started a kitchen remodel two years ago.  Long story short, the initial contractor did an awful job and I was turned down by two new contractors because they didn't want to deal with all of the leftover mess (things not done to code, not done correctly, inspector issues and so on).  But, from the moment I met Dave I was impressed with how he handled the situation.  Things started to go as planned and we hit another bump in the road.  This time, it was us and we needed to pay cash for a big chunk of the job so we needed time to save money in between each step.  Dave was very understanding and gave us the time we needed and we proceeded step by step over the next year or so.  We are now finally finishing the job and I am very happy with our service.  Phil, the designer on our job, has been a life saver.  He has helped me with everything and has even provided moral support when I needed it.  He knew when to help me see his point and when to see mine.  He has been a blessing.  In addition, the project manager, Ric, has been amazing.  Not only does he do quality work, but he has been excited for us knowing what we have gone through.  His work is excellent and he is clean and careful and extremely thoughtful while in our home.  He has been an absolute delight to work with.  I respect these men very much.  There have been a few workers I have not been happy with (on some other small jobs that arose over the last year or so), but most things were handled and worked out.  "
