"Very well. They got in here quickly. First day they had 4 guys working here. They started in taping everything and followed up with painters. They started in on the difficult rooms first. They used a Sherwin Williams white which didn't cover as advertised on one of the rooms. They needed to do extra coats which they did. Passed on their discount price of the paint to us. They were here for about a week. Helped us move a piano away from the wall and return it. Set up special rig in the tall stairway to get to all the high areas. Not sure I could have done that. Had we done this as a DIY job it would have taken us all winter. This was money well spent. Minor complaint: Showed up about 2 hours late one morning. Maybe 45 minutes late another morning. We're in the middle of nowhere so I've kind of come to expect this. Once I texted that no one had showed up Brian he was responsive. Price was about 25 % less than competitor. Brian works right along with his crew when he's available. Very happy with the job. Place looks great. These guys know what they're doing."

"Very professional job. The staining was done in a timely way, with windows and other property covered as needed. The staff and workers were courteous and kept us informed during the work. The stain color was exactly what we wanted and looks beautiful! Overall the job was a great value and I am completely satisfied with the experience."

"We hired Dede to paint the interior of the house we'd just bought, and he did a great job on a tight timeline. Gaps and stains were caulked and covered, weird scalloped trim removed, and the entire house looks great. They left the house cleaner than they found it. A little expensive, but he worked with us to get closer to our budget, and there was no one else who could get the house done within our schedule. Would definitely rehire and recommend!"

"I’m very happy with the job this small business did on my old wood deck! It was really worn out, after the painting, it looks fresh and beautiful again. They were very careful with everything—they covered all the areas that didn’t need paint and used tape to make sure the lines were neat. You can tell they care about doing things the right way. They were friendly, on time, and worked hard. I would definitely recommend them to anyone who needs painting done!"

"We have used Jon multiple times-skim coating, priming, hardwood flooring and leaky shower repair, and most recently for installing/updating old windows to modern ones in our home. He performs excellent work, is prompt and communicative, is detail-oriented, and cleans up so well you’d never know he was there. He is very reasonable in his pricing and for the work he does, he is phenomenal value. We are always very pleased and will continue to use him for jobs large and small."

"Damian was very forthcoming and professional with his estimate and work quality. Very eager to please."

"I highly recommend this company! They were very professional got the job done in timely fashion! Super polite people to work with and made my vision come to life! Thank you guys!"

"I recently contracted with A-1 Construction Company to pressure wash and stain a new deck that I had installed around an old pool. Both Steve and Sean were great to deal with and Sean did a beautiful job on the deck. I would certainly hire A-1 again.. Also. I would not hesitate to recommend them to my friends."
