Ellenwood did require that the roof vent cap portion of the installation be done by a separate roofing contractor, and provided a recommendation. This involved some extra work to coordinate the two but in the end it worked out fine. This portion of the work was an additional $250 above and beyond the fan installation (it's an older roof with 3 layers of shingles including cedar shingles, so this made the work more difficult)."
