"After researching numerous pool companies in the area, we decided to go with Platinum Pools to renovate the pool at our house. Dave and his team were amazing. The design and ideas that Dave presented was like he was reading our minds! They were diligent, professional and we are so happy with how the project came out. We have since recommended Platinum Pools to friends that also had their pool repaired and upgraded by Platinum with the same results! You wont be disappointed!"

"Marino's has always been incredibly responsive and customer satisfaction oriented.  The workers are very nice to deal with and they know what they're doing.  I've had many emergency water outages and a couple of basement floods caused by rain, and the Marino's folks are always there to help whether it's Sunday night or some other odd time.  I've never had to wait when I've had an emergency.  I highly recommend them.

"Awesome job. Marcos and his crew more than exceeded my expectations for the job. They were professional, and courteous. The job took just over two days. Day one was excavating and framing, day two was pouring, finishing, and landscaping. The job site was left neat after day one, and Marcos & his crew didn't leave on day two until all the landscaping was made neat and the job site cleaned up. I have already had several compliments from neighbors and have recommended Marcos and MAS Masonry & Landscaping to others. I would definitely use Marcos and his crew again."

"It went extremely well.   The work was done on time and on budget, and it is beautiful craftsmanship.   You cannot tell the difference between the faux paint and the real wood.   I am so pleased with the results.   The workers were friendly, prompt, and cleaned up at the end of each day."

Fountains questions, answered by experts

Pond installation costs typically range from $1,500 to $10,000. The final price depends on several factors, including the pond's size, the materials used, excavation requirements, and any additional features such as waterfalls, lighting, or specialized habitats for fish like koi.

Natural pools don’t necessarily attract snakes, although there is a chance they could stop by for a quick visit. They’re not likely to stay, however, because there’s nothing for snakes to eat in a natural pool environment. A well-maintained natural pool has clear water, so you should be able to easily spot a snake before diving in.

Yes, natural pools can get algae since they use the same filtration processes as lakes or streams. However, you can reduce the risk of algae by adding more algae-fighting plants and not installing your natural swimming pool in direct sunlight, as it promotes algae growth.

One of the most important parts of building a pond is digging the right depth. Your pond needs to be at least one to two feet deep. The specifics of the depth will depend on factors such as the placement of the pond and whether you plan on having fish. If you have fish in your pond, it will need to be at least two feet deep.

DIY kits are available, but professional installation ensures proper water flow, electrical safety, and leak prevention.
