"I actually needed a pond removed, but Jeff was FANTASTIC. Quick, efficient and beautiful work. He did what he said he was going to do, on time and well. I'd definitely use him again, and recommend him to others."

"Marino's Water Works was great on a crazy snowy Saturday afternoon (3 feet of snow on the ground, more coming down) when our water pump stopped working. Answered our call immediately, arrived at our house within an hour, fixed the problem (a lightning strike had incapacitated the pump, requiring soldering wires and then flipping the circuit breakers). What a relief! Getting out of our driveway proved a terrible challenge -- ice and snow on a sloping curve -- but we figured it out together with a tremendous amount of good humor and calm. We recommend them HIGHLY."

"We hired Northwind Designs to install a crushed stone driveway and to incorporate some intricate masonry to better connect the driveway to our garage and a nearby patio. The team was fast and efficient, and they have a keen eye for aesthetics. Look no further than the portfolio on their websiteâ itâ s outstanding work. We have since rehired Northwind Designs to help install an outdoor shower (with attendant masonry/landscaping) and a fence. Highly recommended."

"Marcos and his crew redid my back patio by pitching it away from the house so water would drain . He also added on to the patio using both my pavers and additional ones . He used Belgian blocks as an edge. Most importantly, he fit pieces perfectly around areas which could not use a whole paver. Magnificent job all around."

When deciding whether or not to turn off your pump, you should consider your area’s climate and the aquatic life in your pond. If you live in an area with freezing winter temperatures and don’t have any wildlife, keeping your pump on could damage it. If you have aquatic life but live in a colder climate, you might consider keeping your pump running and adding a pond heater.

Small ponds can be drained and filled in about a day. Larger ponds will take two or three days for professional removal.
