"Jim called within 5 minutes from my request submitted on Angi around 5 pm. He came right away in the early evening and got my tv working again. I requested further service and new equipment to add on to my 7 year old entertainment system and he returned the next day. We discovered my sound bar was just too old to add to the new clicker I wanted, so he immediately had a solution and briefly left - returning with the new equipment I requested. He deftly hooked up my new modem, router and sound system dealing with Spectrum with calm courtesy, obtaining another fan with the person on the phone. He programmed my new clicker that controls my tv, Roku, and speakers. This was my absolutely the best Angi provider ever! He is deeply knowledgeable, kind, highly experienced with a patient friendly manner. I felt comfortable asking him questions and it was a pleasure learning new things. He shared several tips and suggestions which I greatly appreciated resulting in me feeling more confident and am now utilizing many of his tips! Felt like Iâ d met a new friend instead of just a service provider. I am delighted with the improvements, his care and neatness, all the while showing interest and enthusiasm for delivering an ultimate refreshed and greatly improved, simpler system. "Install was easy. Up front cost was pretty low with Angie's List coupon. Monthly price is a little high compared to competing companies. Response time with alarms is excellent. I was advised to use glass break alarms within 10 ft of my first floor windows, which we installed correctly. I asked prior to installation if having one in the kitchen would cause false alarms due to dishes clanging, etc. I was told the glass break alarms are configured to a precise frequency that alarms with breaking glass. So, not a "no", but not really an answer. Well, every time we cook dinner, wash dishes or empty the dish washer, the kitchen glass break alarm gives a warning which would sound the alarm if it was set. This has caused us a number of false alarms while we've been away due to shifting bowls or plates in our drying rack. For the first several we've had to pay our police department $120 to check the house, and I was only notified after the first alarm that there was a cheaper option for a security company to drive by to check for a break in."
