"Yolina and her crew were right on time. They did a wonderful job cleaning my house better than it's been cleaned in years. I'm actually able to walk barefoot on the floors without blackening my feet."

"The McKinney brothers were excellent! They quoted us a reasonable price, showed up promptly to work, and the final product--newly refinished oak floors that were covered with carpeting for decades--looked new! We highly recommend them."

"Janna showed up with 3 other ladies and they got right to work. I was home with a broken ankle and was not able to clean my house. The were fast, efficient and professional. They were personal as well. They asked questions regarding the way I like things done, for example, what I used on my wood floors. Many years ago I had a cleaning service and it used to drive me crazy that they never put anything back where it was. This was not an issue with these ladies.

I did hire them again to return in 2 weeks. - I am hoping that after my cast is removed and I am mobile again, I can continue to keep them on a regular basis.

"I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE Herb and Becky!!!! I can not say enough about the work ethic of these two. They are simply amazing. They make my life so much easier by helping with the cleaning in my home weekly. And they keep the price so affordable, making it so a "normal" income family can have the luxury of help. The business is flexible, honest and thorough. I would suggest them to anyone and EVERYONE!!!!!"

Floor Polishers questions, answered by experts

A floor polisher won’t remove scratches from a wood floor, but the polish can fill in surface scratches and make them all but invisible. If you run your fingernail gently over the scratch and it doesn’t catch, chances are that the polish will hide it. If it does catch, you might want to have your floors fully refinished, and you might need to have a professional floor sander in for particularly deep scratches. When in doubt, call a professional floor polisher to determine if polish will fill in your scratches or if you need more in-depth services.

Polishing a concrete floor isn’t as expensive as it sounds—it’s actually one of the more budget-friendly upscale flooring options out there. On average, it costs $4,500, with most projects falling between $1,000 and $8,000 . When you’re working with an existing slab of concrete, you skip material costs entirely, so it’s even more affordable. If you want a glossy, durable floor without paying hardwood or tile prices, polished concrete delivers serious shine without the sticker shock.

Most experts agree that the best thing with which to clean epoxy floors is a diluted mixture of ammonia and warm water. You can also use mild dish soap diluted with warm water or a degreaser (such as Simple Green or Goof Off) diluted with warm water. Some soap-based cleaners can leave a haze. If you notice this, further dilute the mixture with water or use a different detergent that does not leave a film. You should never use harsh cleaning chemicals, any type of acidic compound (such as vinegar or citrus-based cleansers), or harsh scrubbers like steel wool or hard bristle brushes.

Most DIY floor cleaners don’t require rinsing, but you’ll want to make sure you don’t add too much dish soap or oil to the cleaner to avoid having to rinse it after cleaning. For non-wood floors, mix 8 parts warm water, 1 part vinegar, and 1 part baking soda with a few drops of dish soap. For wood floors, use olive oil in that same mixture instead of the vinegar. You can let these solutions air-dry after cleaning your floors with them, although you should manually dry your floors if they aren’t waterproof.

The answer to this question depends on how large the room is and how much experience you have stripping and waxing floors. It will take at least 24 hours to strip the floors, then you must allow time for drying, waxing, waiting for them to cure, and, finally, buffing them. Since you likely will not be working for the full 24 hours, it is safe to say that this is a two- or three-day job.
