"Had old grout removed from slate stoop and walkway and replaced. Work was very good , workers friendly and cleaned up after done. Protected cars and open garage with plastic covers from dust created during removal of old grout. Would recommend this compant"

"I had a leak in my upstairs bathroom, so we had to open the bathroom wall and the ceiling to fix the leak. BLI came out and did a phenomenal job fixing the sheet rock. The job was seamless, quick and very clean. We were worried about the dust being everywhere. They made the ceiling and wall look like new with minimal dust. Then he spent a good amount of time on his hands and knees cleaning after. I would absolutely use them again and recommend them to my family and friends."

There are a handful of reasons why your drywall anchors are breaking. Using the wrong type of anchor is the most common problem, so always make sure you’re using the best option for a particular project. That there are electrical wires or plumbing where you’ve placed an anchor or that your drywall is weak are two other possible causes. 

The easiest way to tell if a wall is load bearing is to check if it’s an exterior wall or if it runs perpendicular to the joists above and below it (or parallel to beams). Exterior walls are almost always load-bearing, and walls that run under beams or parallel to them are also usually load-bearing. There are exceptions to these rules, and walls that don’t fit into these categories can still be load-bearing. If you’re unsure, hire a structural engineer to look at your home to assess whether or not the wall is structural.

The time it takes for thinset to dry is determined by your room’s ambient temperature and humidity levels. Skimming, on the other hand, is a technique that involves applying a thin layer of drywall compound or joint compound over an existing surface to smooth it out, covering minor imperfections, small cracks, or uneven textures for a polished look. Plastering is generally more costly and labor-intensive than skimming. Although some people use the terms interchangeably, they refer to different processes and materials.
