"Alex and his team were great. They expertly installed Cambridge Armortec pavers on my driveway, path to my house and my stoop. He also repaved part of my inside of my garage that was crumbling. I am very, very happy with the work they did. I was somewhat skeptical because I couldn't find any recent reviews on the Co. They did do my neighbors driveway and it looks beautiful. So decided to give them a try. They were also less expensive than a few other estimates. Highly recommend AA and Son Masonry."

First of all, a live person actually answered their business phone and, on the spot, set up an appointment for a consultation and estimate. The woman we spoke with was polite, warm and competent. John Starkie came out to our house several days later, listened to our wish list, surveyed the area and wrote up a detailed estimate. Mr. Starkie is a personable fellow but more importantly, he is a straight shooter. We liked him from the beginning and our instincts were proven to be correct. He wrote up our estimate on a Friday, by the following Tuesday our project was complete. He organized and coordinated everything: the scheduling of the cement mixer and the power washer to interface with his own technicians and move the project along most efficiently. It was a pleasure working with Starkie Brothers. "We hired Advanced to rip up our old driveway, and put in an expanded asphalt driveway. We also needed a new walkway as the old red bricks were uneven and posed a tripping hazard. James worked with me to ensure the shape of the expanded driveway was exactly what we wanted. The team worked very fast and James was on site throughout the project. Further working with us, they ensured the walkway end was flush with the driveway (avoiding another previous tripping hazard), and worked with me to lay pipe underneath the new walkway so I could extend our in-ground sprinklers and have the option to add electrical. The team put string through and planted flags in the ground marking the ends of the pipes. They even redid the pavers of our front stoop including cutting out and regrouting. Everything looked so great that we hired James 9 months later to come back and install two quarter-circle sitting walls at the ends of our driveway. They even relocated the plants for us.
