"Joe and his 3 man crew did great work. Fast and cleaned Thoroughly. They installed new highhat LED lights inserts into our existing kitchen and our living room high hat lighting. They added cellulose insulation into our attic. They also set up our bathroom vent with a vent going outside of the house as opposes to being vented into our attic. All in a timely fashion and an affordable price. Only issue is that Receipt was given. I guess since it was done during off season. ð ð ¾â â ï¸ but none the less the work was done right. ð"

"I had a great experience with Best Built Remodeling. Mike and his crews were outstanding. I ended up replacing siding and windows with Best Built, and I am extremely pleased with the end results. I had an issue with a back door that another Contractor installed improperly and Mike was able fix the issues with the door. Best Built Remodeling does great work. I have received numerous compliments on my house. Do not hesitate to use this company."

"Luan was fantastic! Professional and reliable. We had siding installed and needed some repairs to termite damaged wood. Luan knows his stuff, explained everything, and he took the time to get the job done right. I would definitely refer him, as well as hire him again!!"

"I used these guys for a remodeling job which included bathroom renovation, some minor electrical work, knocking down and installing new dry wall and painting. Class acts! We all hear horror stories about contractors not calling you back or not showing up on time or showing up at all. Not these guys! Hector, Moises and their crew really did exactly what they said they were going to do. Friendly, responsive and oh yea, solid work! Professional through and through! Highly recommend them and would use them again!"

"Ultimate pros. Extremely efficient and knowledgeable. Called for a quote for insulation and received an education on all aspects of my attic. Brian performed a complete in house audit of my energy systems while he was here. Just wish I was in a financial position to hire a top shelf professional organization such as theirs. My loss."

Eifs Installers questions, answered by experts

Depending on size, material, and labor, two windows can cost between $600 and $1,600.

Because egress windows are meant for emergency exiting and entering, they need to be an accessible size. The smallest an egress window is allowed to be is 15 inches in width and height, with an opening of around 4 square feet.

An egress window is similar to a regular window. However, this type of window opens fully to allow people to escape the home or rescue personnel to enter the home if an emergency occurs. Egress windows are required in all finished basements before they can be considered a living space.

Yes, egress windows are grandfathered. However, this comes with some specifications. If you are remodeling a basement or adding a sleeping area, you’ll need to update the egress windows to be up to proper code. But, if you’re leaving your home as is, you do not have to adhere to these requirements.

The proper way to install a window well is to measure the window, dig a hole deeper and wider than the window, place a drainage tube and cap, anchor the well to the foundation, caulk the seam, and backfill the hole. The job requires tools such as a hammer drill and auger and some heavy digging. Proper placement and window well installation are critical to preventing water from leaking into the window.
