"Chris is an Outstanding contractor !! He's a pro at what he does, He removed my old tub all of the flooring, which was also rotted away he installed a new step in shower and wrap around, and he also redid the plumbing to my bathroom sink, added a new vanity cabinet and sink, he installed new tile flooring to my bathroom as well !! The 3/4/5 rule recommends that you should have 3 feet across on one straight line, four feet on the other perpendicular line, and 5 feet of length from the end of one of the lines to the other. You’re making a right triangle with the tile, and the hypotenuse (the line across from where the 3-foot lie and 4-foot line meet) should be 5 feet long.

You can technically install tile over tile, but we don’t suggest it. Installing tile over any surface that isn’t a completely flat and prepared subfloor will result in a shoddy overall job, uneven flooring, tiles that don’t adhere, extra weight, gaps, cracks, and room for moisture and dirt to enter. For the best results, only install new tile on a flat, sanded surface like subflooring or concrete that is prepared for tile.
