"I needed a new heater for my home sauna. I found Cielo Wellness on Angie’s. They did a great job at a fair price. Not only did they install the heater professionally, they also refurbished my sauna with an oil stain to make it looking fresh. I highly recommend them. Tom Q Manhasset NY"

"Handy Hubby Steve repaired cement stairs and installed a new outside back door. He did an awesome job. Steve was always on time and made sure everything was done properly. His prices were very reasonable. Great personality. Very personable. I will definitely use him in the future for any other repairs I need done."

"Not a lot of guidance as to different options of ACs.  Was supposed to call in advance to speak about this.  They never did.  We spoke generally about my needs, and that was all.  Didn't get a call to finalize, as they said we would.  Held my feet to the fire on day of installation.  Threatened to walk off job during a heat wave.  Said I was "wasting daylight" and that they "were doing me a favor" during a heatwave.  On the positive, the A/C works great.  Think we got a fair price.  The workers worked hard and installed everything professionally.  I only like to know the options and what I am getting beforehand, as the cost of a new A/C is not cheap.  They don't seem to like to do business that way.  Also, didn't like the fact that it cost about $600 for them to diagnose old A/C, and for them to tell me to get a new one.  I knew that before I spent $600 for them to "diagnose" the problem.
Overall, I have mixed feeling about TACO.  If you know exactly what you want, and what it should cost, they are the best.  If you are looking for any type of guidance whatsoever, or a "business-like" approach when dealing with someone, look elsewhere.  That's as fair as I can be.

"Ronnie came on the first day to install the pool equipment and open the pool.  Ronnie is very professional and gets the job done right!  Dave came back to complete the power vac and did a great job as well.  I would highly recommend this company and will use them again in the future.

"Dave arrived at the property on time and from the start I appreciated his professionalism.  He was very knowledgeable about the home's construction and immediately noticed safety hazards that I had overlooked upon my own, limited, cursory inspection.  None of the items he pointed out were deal-breakers, but before we went into final contract I was able to get the Sellers to repair these deficiencies (loose front pavers and handrails, leaking basement sink, uneven pavers around the pool, etc.).  He indicated which parts of the outdoor backyard wooden deck were subject to wood-rot and he also pointed out parts of the roof that might need a professional roofer to later address.  He pointed out that the water heater was ending it's useful life (over ten years old) and his concerns about the electric panel box (wattage input and wiring) were later addressed by the Seller to my satisfaction.  The professionals he brought in for the septic tank inspection utilized fiber optics, permitting a full examination of the septic tank, verifying that a new septic system had indeed been installed, correctly, as the Seller had asserted.  From the darkest corner of the basement to the dimly lighted attic, Dave gave valuable insights as to the construction-quality of the house.  I was very satisfied with his thorough report and the reports of the other inspectors.  Without reservation, I recommend Dave Polo & Associates very much!"

Sauna Installation questions, answered by experts

No, you should only choose high-quality wood to build your sauna. Not all types of woods can withstand the pressure from heat or moisture. Only use softwoods, such as cedar and aspen, that are known for absorbing heat and resisting water.

The primary difference between a steam shower and a sauna is the type of heat they produce. A sauna generates dry heat using electricity, while a steam shower creates wet heat from steam, resulting in nearly 100% humidity. A steam shower typically replaces an existing shower, has an opening at the top, and operates at a lower temperature (around 90-120°F) than a sauna, though the high humidity can make it feel just as warm. It is advisable to limit steam sessions to 20 minutes. In contrast, a sauna is a fully enclosed space that can be placed anywhere in a house and produces dry heat.

Considering the cost of tools, parts, and hiring assisted labor, building your own sauna can cost almost as much as purchasing one. It is less expensive to buy sauna kits, since they are premade and easier to set up. Still, you may need to hire a professional to assist in electric or plumbing installation.

Most people will opt to put their home sauna outside near a pool or on a screened-in porch so the heat doesn’t move into the rest of the house. If your house has enough room, you may choose to put it in a bathroom so you can shower right after.

It will take several hours or more to build a sauna. A prefab kit will take anywhere from three to 20 hours to install, depending on complexity and your skill level. If you’re doing a custom build, it can take more than 50 hours—especially if you need to add ventilation, ductwork, and other renovations.
