"We used Palmieri Landscaping to reblacktop our driveway.  Ralph, the foreman, was very easy to get a hold of and answered all of our questions.  He formulated a plan to put the blacktop down in a way that could ease waterflow into our drains.  The work was done fast and with great attention to detail.  I had a question about the work and Ralph came out the next day to see the issue and talk to me about it. VERY responsive employees and company.  It's always nice to find a contractor that actually calls you back AFTER the work is done.  The cost of this job was 1/2 of what another company had given me as an estimate.
Then, we hired them to do the spring cleanup of the yard and weekly maintenence.  The lawn never looked so good.  Their weekly cost was similar to other estimates.

"Tony is not your average contractor. This is my second review of this business. He initially did a complete demo and restoration of my bathroom. His work was meticulous and he was friendly and very responsive. The current job was an entire interior paint job of my 3 bedroom split ranch. Again, he did an excellent job. He also re-grouted my bluestone patio and did several small jobs around the house. He defies all of your preconceived notions of what a contractor is. It was a joint project with the next door neighbors, who also needed their bluestone sidewalk replaced with concrete in order to make a workable driveway. I asked if I could have the salvaged bluestone. JB took care of the city permits, and the workers were there at 8 AM, prying up bluestone and piling it neatly in my back yard. The driveway looks great."

"I had a rather specific and somewhat specialized need for a backyard concrete patio. The project called for a roughly 14x16 ft slab, of 4" thick with wire mesh concrete - and most importantly the entire patio needed to be pitched toward a centered drywell, for proper drainage. For added trickiness, the backyard had no street access, other than through the house, so the concrete needed to be pumped in (which could get messy). I interviewed three contractors and found JGJ Home Improvement Corp. to be the best overall fit.
