"We contacted Matt to demolish a very old deck and build a new Trex composite deck, stairs and railing. The entire base support structure of the old deck needed to be replaced, including attachment points to the home that were rotted due to poor design and flashing of the prior deck. When looking for a contractor we researched many options. We eliminated contractors who seemed to only occasionally build a deck, those who had a different primary focus area, and those who did not often do composite decking. Initially, we found Matt's business listed on the Trex website as a certified TrexPro Gold installer. After then reading his positive reviews across AngliesList, Facebook, & Google, and seeing photos of many projects that appeared to be the type of work we were looking for, we reached out. Communication was excellent from the initial quote through completion of the project. The quality of the work and attention to detail was excellent. "I hired Ben and Brian to build a sizable addition to my house(extend kitchen, laundry powder room, add bedroom, bathroom, mud room). I encountered multitude of issues while working with them. Note: they have very good attorney that is Brian's relative. Here are some of the facts: 1. Project completion took 11 months instead of promised 5. 2. Improper framing modification caused walls on the second floor to shift. Door openings became distorted and cracks in the corners appeared 3. Water is leaking between the walls and newly installed gutters. 4. Newly installed hardwood floors (3/4 sick Brazilian Cherry) are squeaking and moving in many spots. One piece is completely loose (no nails at all). 5. They refused to install shower doors despite drawing clearly showing them. I have a $3000 estimate of the to fix put walls per drawing and hang the doors. 6. A/C ducts were sized improperly."
