"We decided to replace the tired carpet in our condo. United Carpet was our second stop in search of solid vinyl wood plank flooring. We were fortunate to meet Art McLeod, who showed us a vast array of options, We settled on Karndeen and found one we though would go well next to the existing parquet wood flooring in the rest of the condo. He urged us to take a sample home, and we were glad he did, for our sense of the color match was way off. When we returned he shows us what he thought would work. He "right" sold us, (others had tried to get us to take a more expensive product than we needed or wanted) offering us a product a bit less expensive than what we picked, but he assured us it was of equal quality and better for our application, over a concrete floor (we live an a converted 1903 schoolhouse). His selection was right on the money. He kept us apprised of the order and delivery dates and set up an install date based on our availability. His install crew, Jim and Bob arrived on time, calling ahead. Unfortunately they discovered the concrete under the carpet had heaves and cracks and would require leveling. They were craftsmen and did the job carefully and completely. A one day install dragging into four days, but we didn't mind, because we knew the job would be done well and right. They went out of their way to accommodate us in timing of arrival, and always kept us apprised of any need for them to briefly engage in a repair or other activity. They were not going to leave until the job was done perfectly, and they held to that promise. They were pleasant, respectful, and a pleasure to have in our home. We are thrilled with the product, with the installation and our entire experience with United Carpet has been excellent. We cannot recommend them highly enough."

"Scott Maley did an awful job on my floors. He completely ruined them to the point where I need to get them completely redone. Do not choose Scott to redo your floors, he had no idea what he was doing, and it out me back a whole week into moving into my new home, and now I need to get the floors completely redone. He literally polyed my vents to the floor. He also didn't clean the floors before putting on the layer of poly, which I told him to make sure to do, but there are literally pieces of grass stuck underneath the layer of poly. It's just awful and I can't believe how blindsided I was by his incompetency. I took him to small claims court and the judge decided in my favor. Now I need to work on getting my money back which I rightfully should receive for the awful work he did that now needs to be redone. "
