"Our house is from the mid-late 1800s and had sunk 1½ inch in the middle. Replace beams, columns, joists. A tricky job with a narrow crawl space under half the house. Long story short - the price was decent and the best part was that Dave's initial calculation was stunningly accurate. "William was responsive to our needs, assessed the situation and recommended a solution. He's obviously an experienced craftsman and takes pride in his work. Over several days he sanded and polyurethaned the steps and gave four coats of paint to the stringers and risers. He also installed new molding between the stringers and adjoining wall. Since we have a cat he was sensitive to our concerns and set up a barrier so the cat wouldn't walk on the steps. During the four day process we were away and William kept in touch with us by text and photo to apprise us of his progress with the project. Besides being a good communicator he's reliable, responsible and neat. We're so pleased with the results of his work! We have already spoken with William about doing another job for us.
