It took about 4 months for Hooked on Solar to identify the damaged panels, schedule an appointment to replacement, but finally they fixed the panels."

"After an extensive process of having different contractors evaluate my home & submit their estimates for the installation of a Bosch tankless boiler/water heater combination unit as well as new baseboard heating, I selected AStar Heating & Cooling. Their staff impressed me from start to finish. Initially, I met Aaron who provided a thorough explanation of how the work would be done, offered other options that I did not know of or considered at the time, and provided a fair estimate that was similar to most of the other contractors. Next, when the time came for the projects to be completed, the technicians, Robert & Trevor, were on point. They always arrived in a timely manner & started working right away. They worked efficiently & quickly to get the projects done in the time frame promised. However, they did not rush, they took pride in their work & made every effort to make sure the work was completed neatly & done properly, as they thoroughly tested out the systems to make sure their were no issues/problems in their setup & performance. They also thoroughly answered my questions about the installation of the new systems as they went about their work. At the end of each workday, they made sure to clean up the job site & were very mindful in not dirtying my new floors by wearing plastic booties whenever they had to walk over them. The Bosch tankless water heater/boiler combination unit has been working without a hitch. I barely notice the difference in the time lag of receiving hot water in comparison to the old 40 gallon tank water heater I previously used. Overall, I highly recommend AStar Heating & Cooling. "Need a new one. Control panel died"

"I had noticed a sudden drop in flow through the shower head in the upstairs bathroom. I called one morning and set up an appointment for that same day in the afternoon. Winston and Chris arrived a little early and got to work. The old handle did not come off easily and eventually had to be drilled out. It's the sort of thing that would have me swearing up a storm but Winston took it in stride. After they got the handle off, they found that the cartridge inside had shed a rubber piece that had become lodged in the piping inside the wall. Simply replacing the cartridge was no longer an option (it turned out that it was no longer made anyway), so they ended up replacing everything, including the mixing assembly inside the wall, with new hardware that I had already bought. I was glad they did because the soldering they found inside the wall was very poorly done (by the builder - it's a relatively new house). Winston suggested putting in an access panel after the plumbing work was done, which was a good idea. The shower works better now that it ever did. Considering that 2 plumbers were here for 3 hours, I though the cost was reasonable. And on top of it all, Winston and Chris are pretty good people."

"The last was a rental company that we have and we used them for an air conditioning and heating system. It was Bototach Mechanical. It’s been a good program for us. They’re very responsive. I don’t know what the thought process was. My husband said, well let’s try these guys and so we did. We have an older home and it’s proved to be a very good deal. The quality has been pretty good, so I would give them an A for the quality. I will give you one helpful hint though. If the company decides they want to replace an appliance, you need to call them and negotiate with them because you can upgrade, but you need to talk to them in person not just do it over the internet."
