I would highly recommend Thomas Garage Doors of Reno, Nevada. Perhaps I was lucky, but a repairman arrived at our house to fix the problem only two hours after I phoned to arrange service. He got right to work, and diagnosed and fixed the problem in an hour or so. My wife and I thought the $225 charge was reasonable. The garage door has worked without problem since the repair.

which they gladlycou didThe guy showed up to service the door on time but shortly he called me to come and see what he'd found. A ple of the panels were cracking at the edges but he described a temporary fix they could do if I wasn't ready to replace it. Instead I made an appt for an estimate for replacement. The estimate guy was showing me prices for one door, the new model equivalents of what I had, but I wanted insulated this time and the other door to match. He got me estimates on a couple styles and I ordered a pair that would take a month or more lead time. They called when they had the doors, gave me an appt for installation and showed up on time to install. After they were in one of the guys showed me they'd have to be back to replace one slightly deformed panel. If he hadn't showed me this deformation I might not have noticed it for a while so I greatly appreciate that they took responsibility for it at the get-go. They took out the old doors, installed the new, hooked up to my old opener and installed new door seal around the openings in the wall. They even hauled off the broken one and piled all the parts together of the good one for Habitat For Humanity's Re-Store to pick up. When they came a month later to replace the panel I got them to put more nails in the door seal

They were punctual and professional. They replaced the seal around the door and adjusted the opener and everything is great now!

Excellent. My only complaint is that they were no-call no-show on the scheduled installation date. When I called, they said something about inventory. Fine, but they should have called.

Garage door opener did not work. Chain came off. They came out within 1 hour of calling. Everything went smoothly and quickly. The technician was very professional. He explained what caused the problem very clearly. By the way, he did offer me the old parts, but I refused. Cleaned up after the job. The garage door works great now. Very satisfied.

Their repairmen were able to do repairs on a dented-by-accident garage door so that we did not have to replace the panel or the door itself. They were friendly, courteous and efficient.

Called Thompson's on a Saturday morning after our garage door spring broken. The tech arrived early and was very polite and professional. Would certainly use them again.

He made repairs to the garage and it worked fine for a while, but then broke again. I called them back and they made the proper repairs and adjustments free of charge.

Came the same day I called.
Very courteous and professional young man.
Completed the job efficiently and cleaned up after himself.
Just wish he had offered the left over nuts and bolts etc to me - I'm a part-time farmer and save that kind of stuff. No big deal though or I would have said something to him.
Good experience. Little pricey, but he really promoted the quality of their product, so.....we'll see.

Outstanding responsiveness. I called yesterday afternoon and wasn't even clamoring for expedited service. They called back quickly and scheduled my visit for first thing this morning - which also worked nicely to minimize my workday interruption. Dale arrived in the 45 minute scheduled window and got right to work. He was fast / efficient, professional, and just a very nice guy. He got both of my garage doors working within an hour and did a number of little 'extras' that didn't have to be done.
I had already tried repairing the gear on the main door myself - spending $35 for parts and three hours of frustrating greasy labor on it. My effort at least saved me on the cost of this fix as Dale was able to fix what I missed quickly. I can't begrudge the cost... though of course professional help isn't cheap.

I was excellent!

The installer showed up on time. Very professional. It took about four and a half hours. He explained everything and cleaned everything up, including wiping down the doors to remove any fingerprints. He removed all evidence of the old dorrs and hardware. The doors look great and the double door with the opener is very quiet.

They were fabulous. My garage doors weren't working quite right and I called them up. They came and he was wonderful, just great. He came on time, called before he came, did everything correctly and the garage door works perfectly. I can't say enough about them, they are plain great.

The two company representatives arrived right on time; they were friendly, helpful and explained what they were doing during the entire procedure. We would not hesitate to recommend them.
