"J&G Concrete refinished our pool patio, entire pool deck, and installed drains. We initially contacted J&G Concrete to have our patio deck near our pool be nonslip. Javier identified other problems such a water pooling on our deck and offered to install drains (which we loved!). The work was done on time with 100% accuracy. If you are looking to have your pool deck resurfaced or repainted J&G Concrete is the company that you should book. Additionally, their pricing is fair. Javier went above and beyond and helped preserve a signature in the concrete of loved ones that recently passed away. Javier showed true dedication to the project and made sure that everything was done perfectly. Thank you, J&G Concrete & Javier."

"It was a big job. The Spray deck came out beautifully. They were conscientious, hard working and gracious. They even cleaned yard and pool afterwards and put furniture back. Highly recommend"

"I have used them twice in the past. I used them in June, 2011 and recently, couple of weeks ago. It was like a texture painted concrete they did. We purchased a house which was 10 years old and so they re-did the concrete to make it look nice and new. They also did something like a concrete garage. They put coding on it which looks like paint and paint chips and stuff. They also resurfaced the deck outside the pool. Overall their service was very good. They were expensive, but I think they did a good job. I recommend them to friends and family members. They did everything I asked them to do. The only issue I had with them was that they didn't come when I had asked them to come."

Yes, transforming a deck into a sunroom is an absolute possibility. Building a sunroom involves framing in the deck area with walls, adding windows, and affixing a roof. This project is not an easy task, but it does provide a stylish addition to your house. Not all deck designs support this type of renovation project, so consult a professional deck builder before beginning.
Choosing whether your deck should be lighter or darker than your house is a matter of personal preference, as there is no right or wrong answer. However, considering the pros and cons of each can help guide your decision. Darker colors are often chosen because they show less dirt, footprints, and marks from daily wear, making them easier to keep clean. On the other hand, lighter deck colors tend to stay cooler in the summer. From a design perspective, using a deck color that contrasts with your home's exterior can help make the deck a more defined and distinct feature. Consulting color theory can also make the process of choosing a complementary house and deck color combination easier.
There are several perks to building a deck around your inground or above-ground pool. Specifically, building a deck around a pool gives you space to lounge and sunbathe, easy access to monitor kids in the pool, extra room for entertaining and dining, an anti-slip surface for post-pool fun, and enhanced aesthetics.
If you have wood decking, there are several common deck problems that you might encounter. For example, your natural wood boards may fade over time due to things like sunlight, weather, and debris. On top of that, some types of wood decking can rot, grow mold, and attract destructive pests—including termites, carpenter ants, and woodpeckers.
Coping is the material that lines the perimeter of a pool and seals the transition between the top of the pool wall and the water. Decking surrounds the poolscape and extends far beyond the water's edge to provide a safe walking and lounging area. In short, coping is the border between the decking and the pool itself.
