"I purchased 2x the original deal cause I have a lot of tile in my house.  Made the appointment and they set it for 8-10am.  When I called them at 10:00am that morning, I was told the appointment was 10-12:00.  The technician was nice and was fine with his work. but when we bought the house the grout in the tile floors were really bad.  The tech did try to do some extra cleaning of the grout, but the high traffic areas still looked dirty.  I called the office and said I did not want to have the tech seal the grout when it was not as clean as I wanted.  They were nice enough to trade cleaning the hall carpet for me not having them seal the grout.
I did have to run a mop over the floor as there seemed to be a lot of soap residue.  It looked better once the whole floor dried. but I still would not have wanted them to seal it.
The truck they parked in the driveway dripped oil too.

Floor Polishers questions, answered by experts

Services typically take 2-4 hours, depending on the area size and floor material.

To properly maintain natural stone surfaces, use pH-neutral cleaners for regular cleaning and avoid acidic substances that can cause damage or etching. It is also important to reseal the surfaces periodically, especially for porous stones, to protect the finish, maintain appearance, and ensure longevity.

Wood floors should be polished every two to four months to maintain a shine and to keep them protected from daily wear and tear. More frequent maintenance includes dry mopping the floors daily and cleaning spills immediately, using a spray mop and cleaner weekly to remove any built up dirt or grime, and sanding and refinishing the floors every three to five years.

If you’re looking for commercial cleaners, just check the label to find options that say they are safe for vinyl. Otherwise, homemade cleaners work great for vinyl plank flooring. Baking soda paste works well for spot-cleaning, and vinegar mixed with water is best for all-over cleaning. You can even clean your floors with plain water, which is great for everyday maintenance.

Both buffing and polishing increase the longevity of your floors by removing scratches and buildup, but they are different processes. Polishing removes the top layer of your floor, removing surface-level scuffs and scratches. Buffing your floor involves filling the scratches and scuffs with a buffing solution. No matter which method you choose, you can rest assured that both techniques will leave your floor looking shiny and new.
