"Happy with the result. I was initially looking for replacement solar screens to change the screen color and remove the grid but Peter was able to reduce the cost by re-screening my old ones, removing just the grid, touching up the remaining frames, replacing the old anchors. From the street, they look brand new."
Hello I'm Horacio with 45 years of work history in different fields from repairing to putting things together, I do painting repairing windows or replace windows and I also do irrigation and landscaping, plumbing papers, repair cars and appliances, I'm a well rounded person that knows how to do just about anything.
Originally from Australia, I’ve spent years working in the building and maintenance industry across four different countries. That experience has given me a broad skillset and a strong work ethic. Now settled in Las Vegas, I’m excited to bring that experience to the local community—helping homeowners with everything from small fixes to projects that need a bit of extra care.
I will ensure customers high expectations and customer is always right, if you don’t like the work I will perfect it until customer approval before complete payment. Have a lot of experience in drywall & painting. Super clean and perfection is mandatory
Hi my name is Don. I’m 43 years old.\nI have been in the trades for 23 years.\nWhen I was 19, I worked for a contractor who remodel custom luxury homes.\nI spent five years with them and then took what I’ve learned and started a small any man business in California. \nShortly after that economy started to slow down, so I focused on one trade.\nNow that things are looking better I’d like to get back to what I did before.\nI have experience in everything from concrete to roofing, and everything in between.
"Peter was very professional and brought samples. He explained the materials, options and process and evaluated my needs. The solar screens look fantastic. My son is a superintendent in construction and he was impressed with the quality and work performed. I am looking forward to my shutters which are being made."
"Excellent service, very fast response to my request for service, picked up laptop, diagnosed issues. Initially thought it was an OS update issue but the hard drive had failed along with other components (including 'CPU). Because other components were involved, a new solid state hard drive was put into a laptop with a working processor - same type CPU as in the failed unit. The laptop was repaired and returned in less than a week. This company picked up and dropped off the laptop (driving from Huntsville, AL (about 60-70 minutes)-- great service in this covid environment. I would recommend this company to my family./friends and will use again."
"I contacted Rudolph for help with needed repairs to my rental property. We set an appointment and he was exactly on time!!! We went through my list and he gave me a price up front for everything I needed done. His prices were very reasonable. He started the work the next day and completed everything as promised. He even went and helped pickup some paint and air filters that I didn't have. He was always very responsive and wanted to make sure I was happy with the work. I will definitely be using him again in the future and would highly recommend him to anyone who needs an all around good handyman!"
"He was on time as agreed, went above and beyond to finish the job correctly, price was reasonable and commensurate with the quality of work, screens look great! Would hire him again!"
Tears, holes, or difficulty in opening and closing suggest a need for repair.
Typically every 10-15 years or whenever they show signs of wear and tear.
It’s possible to make minor screen repairs yourself using a waterproof adhesive for small tears or a screen patch kit for larger tears and holes. However, it’s usually a better option to call in a professional window technician. It’s very easy to use too much waterproof glue, resulting in a messy appearance that might demand a full replacement anyway. A screen repair technician will not only be able to carry out clean repairs and patches that aren’t obvious, but they can also let you know if replacing your screen is a more cost-effective option.
Window screens can take anywhere between 10 minutes and an hour to replace, depending on the complexity of the replacement and the accessibility of the window. Replacing the screen inside an existing frame normally takes longer than replacing an entire screen, frame and all, if you purchase a prefabricated screen already mounted on the frame.
Most window screens in residential homes are designed to be removed from the inside, especially with double-hung, single-hung, and casement styles. That said, some setups require exterior removal. Older homes or custom installs may have exterior clips or brackets, and sunscreens are almost always mounted on the outside. Before removing your window screen, look at how it is held in place.
