"Overall, they do good work and we were very satisfied with the end result. Our project manager, Cyndee, was wonderful! We had her cell number and communicated with her almost daily during the process. Sometimes she noticed things that needed to be changed or fixed even before we did, which was nice. The process took longer than expected due to an unforeseen supplier issue, but Professional Contracting Builders were good about making it up to us however they could. Not every detail was done correctly or to our liking the first time, but they were good about communicating and coming back to re-do the details until we were satisfied. We did have major issues with one of the subcontractors, but those were addressed by Cyndee and ultimately the sub came back (multiple times) and fixed the issues. All the other subs were GREAT and did excellent work! We would hire them again."

Even during the construction, I made changes and they were very accommodating. In the end, the job turned out amazing. The job was done so well that a family member even asked for an estimate for their bathroom. "Felipe and his crew did a large project for me (back porch) and myriad smaller items to repair our new home. Short version: I'll definitely be using them again and recommending them, but you need to be engaged. They are not a set-and-forget crew. In general, the quality of the work is high. The porch is exactly as we imagined it and we're quite happy. The only issues I have with some of the work is the fit and finish. Roofing nails missing the joists weren't redone, so now there are nails hanging into my porch. The ramset nails they used to attach the base plate to the concrete pad had some kind of wax/rubber around them which wasn't completely removed prior to painting, so there are weird nubs sticking up on the base plate. Some of the screws on door moulding weren't puttied over. The biggest issue I had with them was communication and scheduling. Felipe forgot a few parts of the project and things got dropped a few times. It worked out because I was paying close attention, but I think he may just have too much going on so things will fall between the cracks. Scheduling was a regular issue. Our project took place right outside of our bedroom, so we wanted to know the night before if they would be there. It was about 50/50 whether they'd give us that heads up. They also broke an expensive high security lock and I was not reimbursed or discounted. On the scale of the project, it was a rounding error in cost, but it's the principle of the matter on that one."

I spoke with one of their designers over the phone and he came out to look at my bathroom which needed some custom work. Communication was on point. They finished on time and it looks amazing!! I would definitely recommend them to my friends & family."

"The concrete driveway at my home was about 40 years old and had been breaking up for the last decade or so. I knew I had to replace it but I was concerned that doing so would damage the sewer and gas lines that run under the driveway. Then I noticed that Mountain Side was doing some of my neighbors drives so I spoke to them about my concerns. They assured me they could do the work without disturbing the underground utilities. They removed the old concrete WITHOUT using a jackhammer. Safer on the utilities and quieter. I then stress tested my sewer line by filling 2 bath tubs and started them draining them, at the same time I flushed 3 toilets and turned on every faucet in the house. No backup. They then put down some rebar (the old drive did not have rebar) and poured the new drive the next day. I now have a new attractive driveway that my granddaughters can use as a canvas for their chalk art. COST: I checked several other contractors and Mountain Side was on the low side of the average. WORKMANSHIP: Excellent Practically a work of art. CREW: Professional and courteous. They knew what they were supposed to do and did it. NEATNESS: Excellent All construction debris was removed and landscaping on the side of the drive replaced neatly. OVERALL IMPRESSION: Very pleased with the outcome."
